looks great, just give light
and vent the chamber once or twice every day.
mist walls when you vent.
pretty stealthy grow set-up

I KNOW I shouldn't have it this way, and I'm working on an angled pvc pipe running in the side of the chamber. I wanna angle it so that the water can drain back into the ultrasonic humidifier I got from Wal-Mart for 35 dollars. Upload

no, it's the innards of an electric blanket, that I have a thermastat for. I keep it on low with a towell around the chamber and it keeps the inside about 82 degrees.

you do not need or want that,
the perlite and daily misting should handle the humidity requirements easily.
that will just cause condensation on your cakes and give you grief.

thanks for the compliment as well Hip.
these are Creepers BTW.

If anyone read my other post and remembers me talking about some orange growth in my jars. Well, intersting enough. I tried to make karo jars with the new hawaiian spores I got from ralph. oh yeah, and I NEVER use my house water for this hobbie anymore. Mine is too bad. Anyways, I used bottled water, and I got the orange stuff growing in my Karo jars as well.Upload

so, I should stop using the humidifier. Just mist the walls about 2 or 3 times, or when I vent >> and give light ..for about how long ??? I've been leaving it on at night while I'm asleep so it doesn't get too hot in there duing the day.

actually hippie, they are. I looked at the innoc holes when I opened the jars, and they had rust all over them. Also these pint jars are the same ones I used before and got the rusr color stuff. I realized yesterday as I was cleaning my jars that the older ones where some no name brand that had metalt tops. not rust proof.

well, I already through out the jars. ( I did 2 just incase one got contamed. Also. in 1 jar I used 100cc h2o - 1tsp karo And the other 75 cc h2o- 1 tsp karo)
But if I did new jars, the rust wouldn't harm anything when I used the liquid culture to innoc ?

well, all things considered
it'd still proly be best to avoid rust
when possible, esp. in liquid cultures,
if for no other reason that it causes confusion.
get some new lids and next time apply some nail polish on the bare metal exposed when you make the injection holes.
