Took 25g vine, 12g mimosa.

Began to feel like a schoolgirl doing her homework. My house then turned into a posh 1920s ocean liner and I became all sorts of different passengers on the ship. I was an old rich woman, I was a beautiful young woman, I was a middle aged turkish servant with a moustache. I was an american businessman. All clean cut , well dressed and groomed characters.

My writing in my notes changed radically as I went through these personalities. I understood the erotic nature of female grooming and interior decorating. I was a beautiful woman doing these things and they all sparked with eroticism.

I was a gay swiss man enjoying looking at the olympics with men in tight outfits. :-) I even had the accent! I spoke a bit of german too.

For a while I was a dog, the pet of a teenage girl who I looked for affection from. I sensed her loving emotion towards me as an aura.

The key to all this was relaxation, allowing myself to flow into these characters, without guilt or stress.

Relaxation is the key. I realised the importance of relaxation in ordinary life. It allows dreams to come true. Tension causes problems upon problems. Relaxation allows solutions and happines and life flows pleasantly.

I saw myself meeting the woman of my dreams purely by relaxing and allowing it to happen. Tension stops things happening.

Tension makes life cold and hard. Relaxation makes life warm and soft and flexible.

Worries about money, possessions, pain, suffering and death are all tensions. Guilt is tension. Fear is tension. Hunger, thirst and the desire for sex are tensions. All need to be released for happiness.

Relaxation seems to be the key to developing magic powers. It makes reality flexible, pliable, malleable. I saw myself making amazing crystal sculptures purely by the power of thought. Simply thinking them into existence with the flexibility of a relaxed mind.

I saw great things happening in my life purely by relaxing and allowing them to happen.

I look forward to meeting my ideal woman. She will be my everything. We will blend together and complement each other perfectly. All I have to do is chill out and allow her to come into my life.

I find what you're saying about tension very interesting. I've noticed a couple of times that I stressed and stressed over not having something in my life, and when I stopped stressing over it, it very quickly appeared!

Thanks for the reminder. It's something I need right now :-)

Good accounts of enlightening trips are very worthwhile reading for me, thanks Leprachaun.

I got some moc today. Tried 450mg wih 12g mh. Found it difficult to relax. With vine it is much easier to relax and the trip flows better. I wont be using moc again.

I don't like synthetic drugs. They make me uneasy, TENSE! Moc may work great for other people who are RELAXED about using it. I had one proper shining trip with moc, one occasion where I managed to relax and let go.

I love vine. I can relax with it and roll with the trip and have a nice time. Moc was an interesting step on the path of learning and helped me to learn many things. But I am over that step now.

LONG LIVE THE VINE!!!!!

When I first started changing into other people, I thought they were my past life experiences only.

But now I think it is more general. My soul seems to be blending with the souls of other beings, regardless of time and space.

They may be real beings existing somewhere, or they may me imaginary. Some may be past life experiences, but it is impossible to tell which ones. Whatever the case, it is amazing. It feels so real and genuine.

It is as if ayahuasca turns me into a spiritual radio, and randomly tunes me in to various souls.

When I turn into another person, I can see what they look like with my mind's eye. I think their thoughts. Their emotions, ideals, goals become mine. I assume their accent, language, body pose and movement.

It is especally vivid when writing my notes. My hands become theirs. I can see my hands change shape. My handwriting changes to theirs.

Ayahuasca makes shrooms look so trivial.

The vine was crushed and ground fine. I put it in a 1 litre pot with 200ml purified water and 50ml vinegar. I put a plate over the pot as a lid to keep in the heat and stop the water evaporating out. Note that I used a ratio of 1:10, herbs:liquid. I usually use 1:20 but 1:10 worked fine.

Started heating the pot on low. After 30mins it was boiling nicely. After another hour I filtered through a 6" strainer, medium fine grade.

Put the herbs back in the pot with 250ml purified water, no acid. Heated for 30 mins till it was boiling and then filtered.

Put both extracts in a big 3 litre pot for reduction on a low heat. Cooked down to 80ml carefully and poured out. Added rinses from pot and jugs.

The mimosa was just ground and sieved to remove the fibre, and mixed with some water to drink.

I drank the mimosa 1 hour after the vine. Had to eat some bread, oil and spicy sauce 1.5 hours after mimosa to make it kick in. Chewed it very well and drank 200ml water slowly after it. Came up fairly rapidly.

Chewing thoroughy without water and using spicy sauce to stimulate saliva was the key to it working so well. And drinking the water after it slowly to allow it to mix with saliva and heat up in my mouth.

Smoked last cig 30 mins before dosing vine. This stops tobacco interference and reduces nausea. No orgasms that day, ate lightly up to 4 hours before dosing. Drank very little water after last meal to be moderately dehydrated when dosing. That's it.

I don't want anyone to take my brewing methods or ideas too seriously.

I sometimes cringe when I think of my threads here in botanicals and in the archives. On the one hand it is cool but they contain a lot of confusion and idle speculation. Just becuase something is in the archives it doesn't mean it is gospel.

So brew whatever way you find works best and experiment. That's what I do. Hopefully I will feel sure enough to write an aya brewing faq someday.

It must be a glitch in the Matrix :-)

After making my last post, I got 2 e-mails of posts you made to this thread. I came back to post a reply but your posts weren't there!!! I refreshed the page, cleared my cache, refreshed again but still nothing.

Then I got an e-mail of your last post and when I came here it displayed fine, except I have a mysterious double post. WTF???????

Anyway, moc is moclobemide, the maoi I was using with mimosa in another thread.

The "we are all one" theory is growing on me the more I drink aya. Looking through someone elses eyes sounds freaky but it is quite nice when you get used to it. I'm glad you know what I'm talking about so I don't feel too isolated. I wish there were more aya drinkers here.

"makes me think we are all ONE soul living in many bodies at once"

That's so very interesting that you should say that Hippie . For the past few weeks I've been getting / working on / experiencing the exact same idea . There are a few models that we could use to visualize this : (1) Let's say you have an orange sheet of construction paper . This is the one complete cosmic soul . Now we lay a black sheet of paper over the orange one . The black sheet has hundreds of little holes paper-punched out of it.....so we can see the orange color showing through . The black paper is our physical mass...our bodies .
(2) Imagine the sun as the one cosmic soul . Imagine completely encasing it in an iron sphere full of small holes . The "giant" soul on the inside knows it is one soul . But...on the outside.....all the little rays of light begin to forget that , the further and further they extend from their source through time and space . They invent identities for themselves , to help create the illusion of seperateness....the illusion of an individual ego/soul .
Anyhow , I loved seeing this same idea suddenly emerge in your post (and Leprachaun's) . It's like a bit of telepathic confirmation syncronizes and then appears out of the blue .

Yes, and experiancing at least at this moment in time, existance as an individual.

We are all "I am"..
Conventional thinking is the ruin of our souls,
something borrowed which we mistake as our own.
Ignorance is better than this; clutch at madness instead.

We need to discouse this further, other people at other places are reporting experiences like this.

I wonder if all us people eating mushrooms, and drinking Ayahuasca have not awoken something collectively in each other.

I myself have been going to a strange place every time I trip for the past few months. I cannot even begin to describe it. I am not here when I am there, but when I realize where I am at, I come back here. For me at least this has been a new state of existence, but I cannot even begin to describe it. It fits in with what redmonk describes.

Its outside of the "normal" triptamine experience. Its totally different. Its not at all unpleasant, in fact I seem very much at home there. Its totally timeless.

I have been keeping these experiences to myself. I have wrote them in my journal and I have found nothing like it described in my past experiences over the years.

I only trip once a month, very rarely more and sometimes less. Perhaps the only difference is that I have been trying to integrate "mindfulness" into the experience this past year. Just observing the flow of thought and the silence between thoughts.

All in all these experiences have been the most interesting in the past 20 years.
Conventional thinking is the ruin of our souls,
something borrowed which we mistake as our own.
Ignorance is better than this; clutch at madness instead.
