hey everybody...good to see everything back in business. ! haven't been around for a while, but wanted to say what's up to everybody, new and veteran alike. anyway, mi jar lids are becomming rusty, right around the rim area. ! was wondering if this has ever been a problem for anybody else, and if it's going to contaminate mi jars next time i use them.
on another note, !'ve been throwing all my aborts into honey. isn't the water and honey suppossed to seperate? ! just have liquidy honey, with all the blue of the diced shrooms rising to the top.

The rust shouldn't be a problem, you can clean em real good, scrape the rust off, and put clear fingernail polish over the scraped areas to help prevent further rust.
Or you can just let em be rusty.
Or you can buy new lids.
Lots of help, ain't I?

Keep the Foil Caps on the jars during Incubation. Store Jars in a Clean draft free place at 86*F if possible. No Light needed at this point. Handle them as little as possible, keep jar lids tight, do not open them.
No Problems or Contams from Rust
