Hahahahahaha yes! That's the best fucking picture I've ever seen. I suggest you just get an air gun and cap him the next time, or you can easily trap him with the old box, stick, string, and peanuts.

There was a story in the news that I read the other day about a bear that had drank 30+ beers and in order to trap him they used beers as lure. Maybe you can trap the thing with more mushies.

i wouldnt dare hit that thing
with a pellet gun

it is a good idea tho.

today i saw him again
eyeballing the patch
of which had no shrooms
in it

he didnt go for it
because there were no more
shrooms to eat

i sensed he was thinking about
eating the popcorn mycelium...

and i laughingly thought
"just try it, i dare ya.."

lol

i dare him to eat the popcorn also

there should be a second flush
coming soon too...

Its HARD to hit a squirrel with a pellet gun. They are all fur, your pellet will probably swish right past him. I prefer the good old 12 gauge with some dove shot shells.

i bet id be able to nail him
with a bb-gun,

right between his two
beady little eyes

i dont think id do that
even if i have a bb-gun
i wouldnt

but im pretty sure id
be able to hit him
if i did

That's the right attitude IMO :-) Not that I am a vegetarian or don't use animals. But I love them. Most of them :-)

The squirrel has seen you, you have seen the squirrel. Try to make it your friend! offer it some nuts and other goodies in exchange for its proximity. You never know, you may become good friends and trip together. Do take more pictures if you do get that rodent to trip.

Squirrels are nothing but rats with press agents. (fluffy tails)

In our area, over half of them have rabies. Very dangerous to have or be around.
