i dunked them in tap water for 24hrs followed by a 15min bleach dunk and they are sitting in a pile of straight up vermiculite. Im useing pretty fine vermiculite, oh and im pretty sure this cake was packed really loosely. |

yea the bottom cake is the same size its just buried halfway up in vermiculite. no that top cake got a lot more, but on some of my other double stacks the bottom got more. we just finished picking 300+ gs and got some great shots of the cakes, but im tired so ill post them tomorrow. |

How do you keep them together? I was thinking of toothpicks. Got any tips on keeping them together? |

well i didnt actually do any thing to hold them together. and they never tipped so i dont think its that neccisary, but if you want something a shishkabob stick would work well. |

when you put them together, push them down they'll conform to each other and not move unless handled roughly faht |

Would there be any problem with double stacking 2 cakes of different strains. For instance, I have a PB cake and a B+ cake i just birthed could i double stack them or would the different mycllium work against eachother? Thanks y'all -ELS |

i wouldn't think that would be any problem, as each mycellia has it's own cake to feed off. as low as you don't actually inter-mingle the mycellia by crumbling and mixing , the 2 strains should each grow in their own sector. |
