so my 2 logs are at about day 10. they are almost fully run. i notice some large drops of water on the inside of the plastic. should i leave it alone or cut some more holes for more air? |

i wouldn't sweat some condensation, that's just normal metabolic activity. but neither do you want it bathed in its' own sweat, so use some clean paper towels to wipe it up when you see it. might try lowering the temp a bit if it's not right at 'optimum', that'll reduce it some. a few more holes might help but you'll lose more water faster too, and uncased straw is pretty hard to re-hydrate. |

temps are 72-74. hopefully i'll see pins in the next few days and the plastic can be opened per the tek. would it hurt to slice open the poly tubing now and lay plastic loosely over the top? |
