has any body tried growing invitro cubensis with rye grass seed. thats what the new kits at www.mushmush.nl look like they contain

that's proly meant for p. mexicana, which produces sclerotia.
not for cubensis, which uses rye grain instead.

I did , and successfully if i remember well , it's a loooooong time ago , in the time people had to read books to get informed on growteks :-), but i remember well that it effectively colonized the ryegrass , amazonian , palenque or some other strain from that period (1980)

hippie- i know rye seed is usually for mexicana stones but have you seen the photos im talking about

The substrate looked like ryegrassseed and at the bottom it looked more like dung , the dung made it a bit more difficult to shake well.
