I was just cruising through the post's and I noticed that someone said they "flipped the cakes" in mid colonazation. What is this? What does it do? |

When you're like 60% colonized, you turn them upside down, so the lids are on the bottom. This allows the excess CO2 and moisture to leak out thru the holes, helps to stop stalling |

this should only be done if needed, as there is some risk involved if the verm. barrier shifts much, allowing outside air to enter. |
