Got a growing issue. A friend has a cake with some brown streaked stems on it and the caps have small white spots.

Questions are:

What is this a symptom of?
How can I fix?
Will they be okay to eat?

they'll be fine. it's caused from excess moisture in the cakes and/or terrarium

There isn't really a reason to fix them they are fine to eat.
