Once your into habanaro territory I recommend wearing gloves, otherwise your hands can remain nuclear for a day or two regardless of how many times you washed them. You can feel the burning sensation on your hand

Noise / sound; not sure where to draw the line exactly but 'sound' as we percieve it is a function of pressure waves impacting the eardrum and then being converted to our subjective experience- This is what had me going WOAH! .... But there's also evidence that tplants are capable of hearing (and vision) too so perhaps the answer is 'Yes'.

Interesting. One could make the same argument for all of our perceived reality. Is light reflecting off a surface and going into our eyes anything without the observer? Does the sensation of a rough board exists without your finger there to touch it. The observer is everything as far as we can tell at this point. Even to the point that simply observing things on a quantum level can effect how matter behaves

Right? ! Though I feel strongly that there is some 'reality' to the world out there- at the very least because plants and animals and bacteria and such are conscious to some degree, and also serving as 'observers' in their own way. But the idea of external objects possessing sensations independant of our subjective experience.... doesn't seem like it!

'The placebo Effect' brings up some major questions. 1. If total healing occurs due to the non-treatment related factors (ie interpersonal and otherwise) is this true healing? As opposed to say a treatment based on a firm understanding of the actual reality of the imbalance? It seems to me that 'the placebo effect' can operate in opposition to any 'Reality', or in parallel with it...... In which case, does this mean that alot of the cure's we accept as valid are,...

Given that 'the placebo effect' also encompasses a physicians belief in the efficacy of the therapy, his confidence in himself, and his intention- AND given the nature of the way in which belief transferrence can occur between physician and patient- (EVEN IF THE BELIEF OF THE PHYSICIAN IS BASED ON AN ILLUSION!!!!) It's looking to me like it's entirely possible that ENTIRE HEALING MODALITIES ARE BASED ON THE PLACEBO EFFECT ALONE

And, that these illusory constructs are maintained by the widespread belief of individuals within a culture...... I do want to state here that I'm not just pointing the finger at allopathic medicine- and that all healing modalities are likely suspect.

Normally with a 3 inch serrano pepper deseeded- though I forgot it this time on the scale at the store. In the past I have ate real spicy; though I've since learned that my tounge and the rest of me disagree on what a proper level of spiciness is.

QUIET-LOUD: The sensation of silence in a place with little human disturbance; in which the silence is deafening, ie the crickets and night animals are having a party. Love it. Going to take some getting used to- but a much needed improvement over loud spanish soap operas from the old neighboors.
