Real nice Lakegal, I remember the name Strawberry Cough from over a decade ago.
I can't remember the breeder's full name.

Yours was the only we have tried.

Love the pics, those seed packs are like baseball trading cards
one day they will be memorabilia and valuable , from the dark ages we live in now.
There are old cannabis tax stamps from the farmers in 1940's, that are rare. Bottles
of Cannabis medicine from the legal days when cannabis was widely prescribed and
bought over the counter.

We are on the edge of the rival of cannabis medicine.

I split my veg tent in half
I added this insulation panel in it
To block the light for my other s.c. In bloom
in that tent. I didn't do a real good job at blocking
all the light bleeding over from the veg. side
I added another panel to block the light
better.
That plant has been on a 12/12 light regime for
two weeks and wasn't looking like any flower growth, just
stretching.
The h.p.s. Is 150 watts I'm thinking should be plenty for a
2'.4" x 2'.2" area.
Maybe I'm being impatient about what I think I should see from
This plant in terms of flower sites but blocking the light better from the other
side of the tent should of been done right the first time.. I just finally fixed it

Heirloom, I love looking at the old pre prohabition cannabus medicine bottles
too. Now I know what to send you
The strawberry cough plant is
75% sativa and 20% indica
It's a purple variety with N. American
and Europien traits ( I really don't know what any of that means)
Need to read a book..
It's supposed to be a 18-20% thc

I've saved a lot of old containers
from Pryor purchases. I'm gonna let a few friends know I want they're
Old cannabus packaging for you if your interested

Update on Strawberry cough,Blueberry Auto and Raspberry Cough
My water p.h. Was at 7 and decided to get it down to 6.5
My 3 of 4 S.C. Was looking like it needed some mag. Had added some Epsom salt
but after a few days it still looked deficiant so added 1/2 teaspoon of mag. to a gal. Of water.
I'll give it a few days to see if the p.h. Change and mag. supplement helps.
My blueberry auto really has me scratching my head. It's been under flower growing
conditions for a week but not a lot is going on with it. It was recommended to not give much if any
Nutes but did give it a little bloom nutes today. At least it looks healthy.
My 4 of 4 S.C. That's sharing the other side of the veg. tent looks funky.
It's getting good ventilation, good h.p.s. light, it's just not as robust as the others.
Once I am able to harvest my
1of4 s.c. I'll move it into my bloom tent.
The 2 raspberry coughs look great. Gonna wait a bit before taking any clones
Both c.b.d. Seeds popped emediatley and are about 2". Some of my mystery seeds have popped
as well. It's a wait and see if I got lucky and have a female or two. Once it's safe, I'll move those outside

Hello
Here's my update on my grow
Learned a important lesson regarding
p.h. testers last week
image.jpeg
My p.h. Normally runs at 7 but wanted to drop it to 6.5
Purchased some p.h. Up& down along with a tester kit.
Got lazy and decided to used my guage to speed things up.
I'm surprised I didn't kill all my plants. Will use the test kit from now on
Harvested 2 of my 4 strawberry coughs
. The info for growing these
said they should be in flower 9-12 wks. They were ready by wk. 7
which was great so I would have room for my two raspberry coughs go go to the flower tent
image.jpeg image.jpeg Here is my redneck clone dome for the raspberry c.
veg tent
The blueberry auto is doing better now that I put it back on veg light times
My two CBD babies are coming along and have a couple mystery seeds and more
strawberry c. For gifts and grows for this summer.
Of course it's a ways off for us. We are sandbagged around our house and running pumps
Around the clock. At least I have my lovely grow to cheer me upimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Here are some pix of ... You guessed it, Strawbeery Cough
Thanks to Heirllom, I think I've got the cloning down. All my S.C. Growing are
Clones.
Here are some shots of one of them at harvest image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

The many people who have enjoyed the S.C. Have said it helps with pain.
Many just like the high. It's not nessisarly energizing, but it's an upper feeling
and a calming feeling at the same time.
After curing, it has a sweet, berry smell. Each grow smells a little different but still
has a sweet smell.
Some come out with more red hairs than others.
I will continue to keep this jem growing through clones

Very nice Heirloom,
so many people like S.C. I should check into that strain as I'm incorporating some vertical screens which is best using Sativa dominants.

Edit: @Heirloom @Lakegal7
What kind of finishing time do we have on that Strawberry Cough seedfinder says 63 days, I'm not really believing that

Hash I haven't grown SC only smoked it. it's my wifes favorite, I offered her several different kinds on day and right away she chose the Sc based on the smell through the bag.

kinda off topic , I found some seeds I made in 2011 and got a good germination rate they are a Deep Chunk female by Super skunk males. Looking forward to growing them outside this year.

peace

That is some bitchen big buds of your OG Kush Heirloom!
I've got some plants incorporated in a flower bed
I've got a mystery plant I'm manifolding training.outside.
I am having fun with manifolding and learning more about topping
and am planning on some country grows too. I want to do a Scrog grow in the woods

Sure can't beat that fabulous sunshine

Hashman, I hope you do a forum if you incorporate the vertical lighting.
Hashman, my last four plants were..plant 1, 8 weeks, 2. 7 weeks
3. 8 weeks 4. 10 weeks
I think I did a grow before these clones and had one finished at 6 weeks flower to harvest
I have them in veg for about 5-6 weeks
They were grown LST in 3 gal pots.
I've got some Raspberry Cough growing too. I think the bean came from Nirvana.
The RC is supposed to have a higher CBD level. This is good news for pain relief.
I imagine you could grow everything a little longer and get better yields if the girls have room
to grow

Heirloom/Hashman, could you share a little about Super Chunk?

The deep chunk is also known as monkey balls its an old Afghan kush that was in California decades ago.
it produces large golf ball type buds that are rock hard some taste like hash with notes of coffee a nice smoke.

The super skunk has been around and is another great plant NeptuneChild started a grow log with Super skunk, AK-47 and a few others.

I forgot I also found some Vietnamese Dalat seeds I had done a few grows of, should try them.

good grows to all

I already butchered the name, now I want to call it
Monkey Balls. Love to see this grow
Here is a update on my two CBD
Nightingale and Hiydrow image.jpeg image.jpeg
I topped both and decided to do a sort of manifolding
image.jpeg
Sorry about that
Made a bunch of clones from these two girls
Here they are in the bloom tent. They were switched about 3 weeks ago
image.jpeg
I had 3 mystery seeds, it took forever to figure out the gender. In the end I put them in the flower light schedule and low and behold they finally reveled themselves. So I have 1 mystery girl
that I'm manifolding outside along with a S.C. And 4 other s.c. for a friend to take and do a gorilla
grow

Nice plants, I enjoy seeing you guys do well. Looking forward to hearing about your CBD plants when you get to sample them. I love home grown it's the best. That Strawberry Cough is top quality weed. I'm very lucky to be trying a variety a little at a time .

I've been eating my cannabis lately and taking a few single hits, my lungs aren't strong enough to smoke much at a time. Most of the weed I smoke is so good that
a few hits is enough.

A syringe of home made cannabis oil.

Decarboxylation was done in a mason jar in my pressure cooker, 15psi for 1 hour. I then extracted the THC using a quick 2 minute iso-wash. I dried the extract then added a very little bit of coconut oil. I store and dispense from the syringe as needed. Works pretty good. I got higher yesterday than I have been in a while.

Thanks Lakegal7 and Hierloom info and for the time frame of the S.C.
I remember now my clones have a stretchy structure so they'll work. My favorite weed to date is a tie between LA Confidential and a Mazar the #2 phenotype . .

Heirloom, very cool. I've never heard of decarboxylation using a pressure cooker before
It's always been in the oven. Could you tell more about that and your system to make your tincture
I plan on saving a little smoke from my nightingale and hiydrow but making a tincture for my daughter
and for my own use.

Hashman, do tell about your favorites strains
There are sooo many strains and right when I think I know them all
I'm reminded that there are hundreds I've never heard of before
I think I've heard of LA confidential but not Mazar #2
I found a cool app/ website that's packed full of great strain info
called leafley, gotta check these strains out

I saw decarbing with a pc at youtube, works . I have been using 91% isopropyl alcohol (100% be best). Grain alcohol works great if you can get it, they outlawed it here.

I put my weed in a jar add enough alcohol to cover the weed . I shake it for two minutes and filter then evaporate alcohol on a hot water bath. The first run is best. I do a second soak overnite filter evaporate. Storing in a syringe is great.

I have used hash oil and mixed it with liquid coconut oil for rapid absorbsion fill a syringe and when needed put x # drops under tongue for a dose. Works good can use other oils or even straight hash oil.

Be careful of fire do outside use electric heat source.Be sure to evaporate all the alcohol.

Heirloom, when you do the water bath, are you using a double boiler?
I think when I do this I'll get some everclear
Definitely going to use your method of decarboxylation with my trusty
P.C.
I want to learn all these methods and hopefully become
Proficient in tinctures, dabs, shatter hash and all the other
methods that are out there to be learned.

Yea I use a double boiler set up, I got a pan of boiling water and set my bowl with alcohol on top of the pan of water. Boils off fast. I may have ta take a drive to a border state to pick up some everclear, they outlawed it a few years ago.Iso is inexpensive and is used in labs to extract THC or CBD they use a large boiling flask and a hot water bath with a rotarty evaporator that spins the flask as a vacuum evaporates all the solven that is collected and used over and over for extractions.

ebay has a small one for $375 they usually go for way more A $_35.jpg

http://www.ebay.com/...ke/332047658242

I'd love to have one with 1000ml boiling flasks and a 5000ml flask though I get by real good with my double boiler , I don't make enough to justify the expense though could be used for other extracts and chemical work

rdit- pic doesn't show good enough
