So we're going to be out of town for a bit.  Babies are doing well.  Keeping them dark & just cozy enough.

Come back four days later.  Despite the darkness, no change in temp, no FAE enhance, 2 bags (one each B+ & Z) are flushing well.  A 3d bag has a single big shroom.  Other 5 bags 100%, but quiet.

A Flush Too Soon 1

Now here's what sucks -- we'll not mention the digging out from 30" of new snow -- we're heading out first thing in the morning for a long scheduled warm weather break & won't be back for another 6 days.  I'm worried that when we get back, the shrooms in these two bags will be a rotten gooey mess if I let them go to fruit.

What to do?  Well, lots of time to think about it during snow removal.

Bottom line: gotta abort.  It's the only sensible thing to do.  Let a new flush start when we get back, but this flush will go down in the lab notebook as

Hmmm... looks like there's enough to take to that warm weather spot tomorrow.  Happy old bear.

As long as one does not cross the frozen or "killing" lines for a species I would say things could be extended significantly......

Of course each organism is going to react differently..........certainly some trial and error may be involved.......

Thinking out loud Bear..............

I would have let them go and just kept the heat in the upper 50s-low 60s.

But it looks like you got a nice treat out of the bag.

2.65g = smiling bear on the beach

also, with all due respect & giving credit, would you mind if I started using your "shaman pouch" term?  Hit the proverbial nail on the head in this old bear's book.  Even in the rush to head out the door at 5AM -- and it's still freaking snowing -- my thought is to stick with fruiting in the pouch.  Just too easy to keep everything nice for the babies.

Along those lines, any tek recommendations I can review while sunning myself?  Word is that @MLBjammer is the king of the shaman pouch!!

Peace all!  I'll think about you on the beach while strumming!

^^That was A's term, and I stole it because it's so cool and funny.  I never thought of my bag grows that way, but it does make sense in a weird way.  And I like weird, lol.

I am glad you got a nice little trip off those, Bear
