Cooking has been my profession for the last decade. I love food so much that the quality is my goal. I know how unhealthy the food sold in stores is and I want better for my family. I'm at a point in my life where I want to change focus from cooking food to growing food, eventually I want to own a catering company and offer farm to table dining. These are my steps in that goal. For the last 5 years ive done small grows for my family but this year I'm self employed and have the time and resources to try to make a living with my own hands. In starting early I want to have a good head start. I'm also growing edible mushrooms and plan on offering my produce at the local farmers markets here where I live.

I'm using 300watt equivalent LEDs. They use 34watts and put out 4000 lumens each I got 4 all together so I'm using 136 watts pushing 16000 lumens in a 4x4 tent. 7897a0ecef0b65e68a6608a67a8c6629.jpg52de46e47448763880cade4e1dad1238.jpg I'm probably going to double my lighting this year. Not bad for a pieced together set up.

Wow, I'm surprised those actually crank out enough light. Guess there's some good quality diodes in there.
Where did you get them?

Alright well its been a week and i got some dated pix, first off is an over view of the whole tent, my pineapple sage in the back is a little dry but i had just watered and it will perk back up in an hr or 2. you may also notice 12 new plants they are Brussels sprouts the ones i started from seed didnt have a fan blowing on them so they got to stringy for my liking.DSC_0595.JPG

next photo is my 49 tomato clones. i took them on 3-21 so its been and week and i took off the lid today check a few of the cuttings for roots and it looks like i got %100 survival so far, we will see how they do with out the humidity dome this week but ive got a floral sprayer with a low nute reg so i should be able to keep em alive.DSC_0589.JPG

and lastly is the mother tomato that ive been growing she is a plum tomato so very small but yummy tomatoes.this momma tomato is almost ready to take a few more clones here soon. you might be able to see the flowers that i left on for the photo but have pinched off after the photo. can wait to get these babies outside and in the ground.
