Here is some boulders up the hill from us all covered in moss
Here us some yellow feldspar?
Hubby broke this one ....its yellow inside i guess weathered white on the outside .... black is mica i think
some nice quartz hiding
smoky quartz ....need a brush this out later tiny small quarts and mica found in the dirt...
rock is covered well in some areas from years of falling trees, leaves etc....
I like the big cracks
I like the nature I wont blow the hill up but I will look b4 and after you do ..... we are tilling this world up but mother nature takes it back ... this area was and still is full of mans debri mother nature covers it up with cycles of life and death and life again ;) I know sometimes the ricks wanna be moved around but I haven't mastered rock talk yet so I don't know if they are completely good with what we are doing to this planet...
....mushroom hunting sucked only a false chant... grrr no water or not much this is a hot hot year .....but playing around with these rocks and smokin a dube hubby was moving some around separating the rocks that have cracked away .... I have a few videos not sure where they went just experimenting with my new camra video....

When I think about big rocks in the area I think of this spot :) .... I had a chance to go there the other day and finally have all the pictures ready to share with you all .... I was thinking about a buddy I havent heard from in a while and wish to share it with him too :)
The walk started out well... I was taking a picture from the bridge and this spider dropped and tried to hide on the bar I had to take a picture ....lately they have been a spirit animal for me lately so a good start :)
He / She stayed there while I took my picture ...that's a nice spider
it is sooo much cooler in the woods
I love the shadows in this picture ...big spruce trees I think
its a good ways down there .... this year we had very little rain the water in the river is really low ..... we had rain the day b4 and the water is still very low
This is why I say rock hounding is spiritual :) ....This river has had human involvement for over 100 years and mother nature is still roaring strong ;)
There is nice pools at the bottom with crayfish and other critters
Wintergreen and false Lilly of the valley
I like this rock

Here is round 2
ok this spot is usually under water is this a good spot to pan for gold or garnets?
or is it better in a bit more water?
a type of mint
this big rock has nice crystals
nice red found under the moss
I love the cedar and the rocks here
they r found on balsam trees after another crust mushroom eats part of the bark first the process takes a few years all together before the tree decomposes
