"....That gurl has a fat ass trunk on it now. Hope your ready lol that big gurl is about to do her thang, hope she is kinky and likes some bondage because she is going to need it......"

Hey! Guru
LOL, I know right? hope it makes a diff on the end results at least I've grown this before for comparison of a different style.
Lights are much higher now and judging by previous stretch (60% of total height. I anticipate some bending and tie down technques on at least some branches.

Hash we were talking about making feminized seeds using silverthiousulfate - STS to block the female plant hormone ethylene causing the female to produce pollen.

Well here is a picture of a bud from a sex reversed ( F>M ), notice its got the female bud structural shape yet it consists of all male flowers. Thought you might find that interesting.

peace

Yes i find it intresting,
I've got a question, do you know if that f>m can be re-veged or somehow keep it around for latter use ? And if breed to a regular female will it produce regulars or feminized? I assume if breed to a feminised other than its own gentics meaning it's female self or sister they'll be female. . I'm asking cuz IDK

No it can't be revegged or kept but you can collect pollen and store it for later use, I have used pollen a year old and got plenty of seeds.
I use clones that I consider keepers so I can always sacrifice 1 clone for seed making.

I find growing out the seeds and rating them to be the hardest part.

Heirloom, could you explain a little more about the rating
of the seeds?

One of these days I need to put my big girl pants
on and try this.

Well if I grow out 10 seeds and find 2 or 3 that are ones I would be happy to grow I would rate the seeds pretty good.Thats about it.

I got seeds from a friend I'll call Mike I grew out his seeds and got a keeper. it grows fast tastes good and it yields twice as much as my other clones. I have mentioned to Mike he should make more of those seeds but he did not keep the parents,so he can make no more. I have 1 clone I have been growing for years.

Trying to keep the clones I got going now so I am not really able to grow out even 10 seeds to test a seed cross.

I think it's easier to select parents if one breeds Female to Female - Gynoecious Breeding, I can tell if a female has the traits I like but I can't tell if a male plant will produce tasty potent buds. that's why I think crossing great female plants with other great female plants increases the odds of producing great seeds.

I hope I make sense I have been working to much and seem exhausted

I think they may have been a tab over watered.

Also the first picture with the plants in the cabnet was taken shortly after they where under black poly for their dark cycle (just for that day) so the plants were a little squashed in that pic.

Here's more what they look like on the next day

as I may have pointed out this is a perpetual SOG in the works and in deciding pot size and best number if tops, I think 3-4 branches in 3" round by 6"high pots to make top flowers. For me I really got to see it in action, below is a 4 and a half week in flower plant with four tops it is 18-20 inches high. (see below ) they'll be 50-60 plants in a 19"X 33" Cab
note: the new plants without much growth will be pretty packed, side by side as they mature I'll place them for more spacing.
