First post, long time lurker. An online aquantance of mine sent me these pictures of his first successful grow. Hopefully they will bring back memories for all you veterans of when you saw you're first pins on pf cakes. These are South American strain of P. cubensis on pf tek cakes (anno's pf cakes for simple minds). In a plain tub with perlite, fanned 2+ times a day. Jars were innoculated on 7/19, birthed the first week of August. Pins showed on 8/13, these are current pictures.

He keeps filling up my email inbox with photos.
DaGoon: Can you find his grow in picture #1? Maybe first who finds it wins a print from the best cake?
Today's pictures, might be more if tonight there is lots of growth from those bigger shrooms. They seems to really take off past 1" long.
edit: notice the little bumps next to the pin in the last picture, cosmic goosebumps man! My friend reports feeling giddy just being in the presence of this mushroom

Looks like a couple will be ready very soon, i personally like to pick em when they look pretty much like the big one in the second pic.....or just a touch or so thereafter (i personally dont like to even see the veil tear).....keeps em nice and solid, as well as pretty when dried :D
again nice work
