Half and Half (I like to use heavy cream)
1 TBSP dried basil
1/2 tsp dried dill
Salt and pepper TT (to taste)
Put soup in pot, add ONE can of Half and Half (or cream) add basil and dill. Whisk together. Heat slowly, stirring often (it'll scorch to the bottom of the pot otherwise.) Serve when hot. Salt and pepper
This can also be done in the microwave, just stir often.
I forget where I picked this up from, but I don't eat canned tomato soup the regular way anymore. This is really good with grilled cheese sandwiches. Maybe use MrsHippie3'a Glorified Grilled Cheese recipe, which sounds delicious in itself!
