Gotta love J. Krishnamurti.  Well, no, you don't really have to.   I thank Great Mystery for sending him by, nonetheless.   His whole story is amazing, as is those of C.W. Leadbeater and Annie Besant, who brought him out of India.

Obviously, your run of the mill guru here.

I searched this quote: "The Guru and his followers are violence."   The only hit it got was your post.

In retrospect, I think I heard K. make that statement in one of his biographical videos. It certainly captures the essence of his message.

I understand that Gautama had teachers then walked away and Realized on his own

I think Gurus help by bringing a person to the teachings

of course you are a Guru Alder, many of us think we are not evolved enough to be your students

I am only an echo.  The original is in your heart.

I enjoyed reading this thread. I wonder if anyone can comment on the wounded healer archetype as therapeutic vessel. Is there a way to reconcile the good with the bad, I mean, can a wounded healer overcome the toxic narcissism that drives him/her and become a legitimate source of wisdom? Is the wounded healer simply the necessary product of social disequilibrium? The wounded healer (scapegoat?) always seems to become the vortex into which society's ills (sin, nemesis?) are cast, ie. the shaman, Jesus, Joan of Arc etc. So what is really going on here? Is healing really possible without creating a black hole or do we simply redistribute bad energy back into the fray in a subtle (or maybe not so subtle) way?

You ask a complicated question. Energy is energy there is no good or bad except that label which we attach to "it".

Blackholes draw in energy/mass yet, at some point, black holes evaporate into the universe through Hawking radiation.

I may be both stupid & crazy hope they recognize that at my trial..........for wanting to know

When I talk to groups I can be polarizing, I have been told that I line up the forces of good against evil for my own entertainment ..to play out a Jethro Tull Song for laughs....
