Today I went for a ride on my bike thru the woods, and found some nice shrooms !

There not really special..but I found one that did looked like a subaeruginosa or subalteus (if I spelled that right) but didn't had time to study it,or take some prints and take them home...

Maybe I'm going for a hunt tomorrow,if the weather is right !

Nice shots! I like the green and white polyspore ones, top right in your collection. The green ones look like turtle shells or something, they blend right in.

My GF just sent me this Stinkhorn pic from her back yard .The smell of rotting flesh attracts flies [U can see one on the stem] which play a role in spore dispursal....
These phallic toadstools grow to full size in one night ,then rapidly wither in the morning sun...

Nice pics, Spacecake. You have a great eye for photography.

I LOVE the outdoor shots...active or not, I love looking at the little guys in their natural habitat.
