Nice to see you around MungoFungo!! It's been awhile.

"How do you like your trichomes you HARVEST?"

I like to let all of them go at least opaque - and it's really nice if around 10-15% of them turn brownish or red in color.

The jabberwocky looks perfectly done. Nice and frosty. Use some Boveda humidifiers for curing and you'll be amazed.

Yup I use those with the perfect cure.. Those metal round tins....never dry up your bud.. With the boveda packs.... They are great and highly recommended..I don't use jars.. Some may say those tins are too efficient..
But where I'm at not much moisture so those packs are great..

Check out the jabber clone coming up on 37 days.
Are you still dreaming of a white Christmas?
I am!!
She's getting frosty..
I like to harvest mine before get a lot of amber also.. About 10% to 15% also .. As long as the pumped out to full maximum I don't worry too much about the amber..

That's putting on some really nice frost.

Looks like we share similar opinions on when to harvest and what to look for as indicators.

I've been curing mine for 2-3 weeks at 62% then I transfer to 58% for long-term storage. Afterward, letting the herb settle-in for a month at 58% makes for a spectacular smoke. It seems to retain all of its aromas and subtleties very nicely.

Beyond that, I know for a fact that herb stored with the boveda packs can keep its quality for over a year. I'm using this method to store the "select" stuff from each grow - like a wine cellar of sorts. ;)

How do those work? Do you toss them down in your jar right on top of the buds? Can 1 packet last through the curing process in 1 quart size jar? Im assuming it all depends on how its predried before going into a container to finish. Thanks in advance.

How do those work? Do you toss them down in your jar right on top of the buds? Can 1 packet last through the curing process in 1 quart size jar? Im assuming it all depends on how its predried before going into a container to finish. Thanks in advance.

Begin by drying the bud as you would normally.

My new method is to simply "chop" the plant and hang it up. No trimming of shade leaves - no handling. - I notice that by using this method the house is less aromatic during harvest. My hypothesis is that the Volatile Organic Compounds are remaining with the plant material as opposed to gassing-off into the atmosphere (a.k.a. "smell").

Allow the plant to dry until the small stems snap easily and the bigger stems fold over like a soda straw.

Trim all of the nodes free from the branches.

Place buds and a Boveda pack in your desired container. I just lay the package against the side of the jar and load the jar with herb.

For the first stage I'll cure at 62% for 2 weeks.

For the second stage I'll cure at 58% for another 2 weeks prior to consumption.

Then, just leave the cannabis alone with the 58% packs for long-term storage.

Additionally, I use a supplemental humidity indicator in each jar for monitoring at-a-glance. (Totally not necessary. These humidor packs are accurate.)

There are several sizes.

The 8-gram packages work perfectly for quart jars.

The 67-gram packages work perfectly for anything up to a gallon jar.

If left undisturbed the packages can regulate humidity - reliably - for up to 2 years according to the manufacturer's claims. My own personal experience proves that they last for a year ...... and still counting.

You will notice that herb stored with this method will have less "jar appeal". When the top is opened there is less "pop". Again, I think this is because all of the valuable VOCs are staying in the herb as opposed to gassing-off.

The smoke is smoother. If you're a tobacco smoker it will become obvious why it's best to keep pipe tobacco and expensive cigars in a humidor. Cannabis is exactly the same.

Hope this helps.

Check out the trichomes on the berry..hard to get a good shot but still needs some time as far as I prefer..
Its day 65 now.....I usually check the trichomes every day when getting close..

Who does foiler sprays? I do!!!
I do 1 for microbes..I use bio war all microbes..I don't use neem or any sprays ... Too harsh for my liking.
The OG BIO WAR.. Is great .. Expensive but my plants are clean.. Never have bug issues..
Unless I make a mistake and bring them in ...( I recently brought in a plant from outside source WITHOUT ISOLATING AND STERILIZING!! I said to myself don't do it.. I did.. And GOT SCALES!

I didn't know what they were cause they didn't move much.. But took a shot with the scope fukin scales!! Had to massacre a plant..
A cbd plant.. Oh well live and learn. And trust your first inner voice..
I deleted the picture of the scales... Bugs... I hated those bugs..
They didn't do shit to my blue berry and jabbers... Don't worry...
Oh yeah tell me about your toilet sprays!!
I also do a fulvic acid apart for nutrition uptake..
Sometimes use ULTRA SNOW STORM. But not religiously like in do the microbes..

How do you use fulvic and humic acid with your plants?

How meaning when? do you foliar or root drench feed or both? What is the benefits of using it? And any other information and or benefits that you feel are important to mention.

I have a buddy who starts them on humic acid right after the root and feeds all the way up through flush with it.

Im about to follow a program laid out for me by another very skilled grower and humic amd fulvic acid are not part of the regiment in fact he is pretty strict on following it exactly no adding other products such as fulvic and humic. Im going to follow the program but i do have a big bottle of it and would like to know what to do with it if I decide to layer it in after my next run following one of my mentors methods. Thanks in advance and nice looking flowers bro!

I do the humic acid as foiler. Once a week.
And the humic acid and fulvic I put in the teas I leave brewing for 48 hours with growkashi and molasses..
My understanding they help the plant with uptake and processing of nutrients..

Jabber clones
And Colorado big bud× white widow coming along!!
