found several shrooms today, most were small brown caps W/ grey or dark gills, a couple were larger with almost white caps, but same dark gills. Are all shrooms found in cow manure ok.

Damn, I wish I had a digital cam. Guess I will dry them out and save them until I can get some pictures and post them. It has been very dry here for about nine months, up until about three weeks ago. Since then we have gotten rain just about every day. When I pulled in to that field I got pretty excited.

What geographical region do you live in? Do not be specific, N,NE,S, etc...
Mushrooms can be quite poisonous and can provide you with a slow agonizing death, so don't go eating what you haven't identified.

Throw those fucking things away if you value your life.

You can't ID a dried shroom unless you're an expert, and even then it can be tough... mushrooms aren't always your friend, especially "found" shrooms.

I've seen thousands of mushshrooms on cowshit and never seen an actual shroom. Cow poo is great food for many mushrooms, not just the ones we specialize in.

They look like pans to me but ask yourself if its worth your life. Most mushroom toxins have no treatment other than waiting to see if you pull through.
