I am back with yet another grow log.
I will be tied to the land until October;
it will be an outdoor grow.
I planted:
2 White Widow seeds
1 Sour Diesel seed.
The Crop King fem'ed seeds are 1 year old for the WW and
2 years old for the SD.
There is a 1:6 chance of a 3 year old WW seed being drawn.
If I get a dud start I will still have time to replant.
Yesterday I started by scoring the spines of each seed with a course wet stone.
I soaked the seeds in 2 saucers of RO water, 2 WW in one, 1 SD in the other.
Today I planted the seeds in clear drinking cups 1/2 full of
Fox Farms Ocean Forrest cannabis growing soil.(FFOF)
I planted each seed 1/4" deep.
I keep the light off the roots by placing each cup in a larger black cup.
The WW's are planted in 16oz cups, the SD in a 12oz cup.
Last year's grow was very successful, too successful.
I matured the plants until brown.
The weed kicks my ass, tanking my blood pressure in an uncomfortable way.
It is rather strong.
So this year's plan is to veg up some plants in pots as big as I can carry.
My inventory of weed is such that
2 big WW and
1 big SD will be plenty of weed for this year.
I might not need to grow next year.
I have scheduled:
70 days veg
80 days flowering
I will veg under 40W CFLs until they are big enough to transplant.
Then I will start moving the plants outside for the day,
and inside under CFLs by night.
Let the games begin.
