Hi friends!

Is this a type of variegated peyote?
its listed as astrophytum.

I'm going to guess this is coming from Thailand or China? I had one once. It is a variegated Caespitosa.

 

Fair warning,

They do not do well ungrafted (due to pigment lack of chlorophyll) and are horribly prone to rot. It was a constant struggle to keep it alive and eventually I just gave up. Mine had more of the butter yellow with the orange, but they are not cheap, and not easy to keep.

It is grafted so Im sure that would help. Not sure if its worth trying.
