they are plentyful this year its been so hot and dry some pests are outa ballance these are everywhere ut my hedge full of weeds and bushes like the lilac have them all over the seeds and the liliac seeds are not good for anything really so I will leave the pest alone on the weeds and herbs and bushes and such
white fly has eaten enough flower sap the leaves are all yellow and brown now maybe there will be a come back but all the dagga has damaged leaves so the crop size on the leaves ae done have to save more petals
what was this plant good for other then a smoking mixture?? ... i think i remember colds and flu

Heres the kitty and his bad habit..... a couple big zucchini ans cucumber
sorry its blurry I cannot find the kids and pets setting yet??
The stink bug has started on the tomatoes leaving yellow leaves and fruit that has white spots in the plum tomatoes.... I will leave a marigold mulch around the tomatoes and see what this does.....stink bugs are not on the marigold plants :) insect repellent plant :)

Hey WildE, when we have extra zucchini here we treat them like cucumbers and make relish, or bread and butter pickles out of them. Zucc's are mild enough in flavor that you cant tell with the finished product.
I've had family, and friends not be able to tell the difference between them and cucumber relish once its properly spiced and canned. And on that note, zucchini are easier to grow here then cucumbers.

I just pulled the big one outa the garden hubby had to carry it in ...the big ones im gonna great up for bread well muffins gluten free ;)
there are ones that are really thick and they work well cut up for lazagna they fit in the pan.....you gota get most of the water cooked out befor cooking in the oven tho so im gonna freze slices on a cookie sheet and line them all in wax paper so i can seperate them after frezing ....that might do the trick to get the water out ....defrost befor use all the water should run outa the peeices and they be ready to put in the oven :) this way I dont have to fry the water outa them cutting down prep time :) Im all for that
