I did a few of those same containers with the alt#7. What one is that again?

Awesome!

I really like the light colored mushroom right in the middle of where the 1st and 2nd quadrant meet. Please clone that! It's very unique!

Oooh, a little loss of pigment. Do a print as well and maybe over a few generations you can get them growing white.

Not many, but some. Is the cap usually that small until perhaps later?

Those caps do look sort of small, but yes usually the pins have tiny heads until they're at least halfway mature.

Ditto on the orientation bug.

So both photos are of my 3ed harvested flush in 10 days, not sure how normal that is but for me compared to cubes it's about 10days between harvests for me. I haven't tried any yet I've been pretty manic lately and I really only take these as depression medicine these days so I'll take some when needed or if I get time to not be "responseable".

Second photo is same flush the caps all seem to lose pigment and I can't get a good spore print... All the caps I've harvested to print have been as mature as the caps here, and I not being patient enough? Should I let the 3 caps here curl up for a better print? So far I've taken 7 prints all for 24-36 hours under a humid dome with again caps as mature as the ones shown. The 3 here are not my last chance at spores by any means and it won't hurt me to have to wait for another tub to fruit I'm just anxious to have one that's not a light shaddow in my print book

These are ATL#7, right?

In my limited experience, wait until the caps are fully open and starting to get wavy to print.

If they're like the 2nd pic, give them another 12hrs, 24 even, before taking off the cap.

Just so you know you can trust me. I took these 2 days ago, they're all Atl#7.

Yes they are atl #7 and thank you for quick responses I figured with my previous 2 attempts being my control, no change is seen means changes to the method must be made for different results. I'll leave these 3 till I get off work at least

They're so long and have such tiny heads. It's creepy.

Edit:

Deleena24, as of this moment, we have posted the exact same number of posts.

So here we are day 13 after first harvest and this is flush 4 I'm gonna fruit it till it stops producing or goes off color. These fruits seem to have no pigment loss and although I let the caps get wavy on the other fruits they only drops few spores enough to see but not dark. Maybe the pigment loss has something to do with the spore count? The fruits shown here though are dark as the pins so we will see if out new fruits spore like our 3 control groups now

I dunno why, but the stems on my Atl7 are almost the same color as the caps. A shade of brown, nothing near the whitish color like yours.

Since they're not printing dark, maybe that does have something to do with it....cant say for sure.

Maybe try taking caps of different stages and see which prints the best...maybe you'll get different results than me. I thought for sure waiting for the caps to start waving would get you dark prints...mine are so dark they look solid black.

BTW people, I still have about a dozen dark prints of Tampanensis to donate to anyone who asks.

I also have 4 Atl#7 prints to donate...

I'd prefer these go to people who are going to grow them and keep the genetics going. I dont want to send out spores just to grow a collection that is never going to be grown out. No offense to the collectors.

I would be interested in the Atl#7 (or the Tamp too if you're looking for homes, I have a Tamp syringe but I am doubting its virility)! Will return the genetics to people who join this thread if I succeed in printing. Would love a set of genetics I know is good.

13 days or so after pins.

New pins are still coming in, but these suckers still have tiny heads. I'm thinking of just harvesting maybe? Not sure what to do as I usually go by the breaking of the veil.

After 13 days, they should've developed caps by now. I am guessing at some point when they were pins you either let them get to dry or too wet...but then again maybe not. Maybe it's the genetic roll of the dice.

Either way, the caps should still open when they're mature, small or not.

The genetics I sent you get thick and tall, with caps well wider than quarters for the Tamp. My ATL get caps wider than a silver dollar, they fall over alot after they mature lol.

My Pan Tropicalis came out with super tiny heads too, for reasons I cant pinpoint, and they're flushing AGAIN with the same weird tiny headed white pins. At least they produce well.

BTE, anybody in the continental US that requested a print from me, they were put in the mail a few days ago.

Mikey says long snake like fruit bodies suggest a need for light. I've been keeping them mostly in the dark since I'm used to cubes. Going to bust out my 6500-Kelvin light and have that on during the day.
