I'll have to keep that in mind! I go to a few in Wisconsin. Jackpine Jamboree in Birmingham, Littlestock In Manawa, Bluegrass in the Pines in Rosholts (conveniently next to a cow pasture). I'll be going to the Moondance next year I hope! I've heard Poppy Mountain in Kentucky is something else.

@PJ.....y'all know they are some killer shit, I seen them play 9 hrs straight and head to another show 4 hours away and play all in one day, They call themselves Trashgrass, but it is far from trash, much more akin to just having a good time and jamming good jams. :D

They refer to their style as "Trashgrass".  Look at the photo posted with the song, the instruments are in a trash can...

I have lost track of how many times I have seen them... I have been running around the Midwest festival scene for nearly 2 decades. There was a 3 year stretch that I was going to double digit festivals each summer. If there wasn't a better show or festival, I just shot up to the Ledges for the weekend. Then I got older and had to start adulting occasionally...

Its awesome how they will play for hours! They are awesome, agreed!!

Yes, I get it, they call their spin on the music trashgrass.

The brown grass thing was a joke, I was referencing the verse about not wanting to smoke brown grass in their song.....

I've never seen them play live (but if the come up to AK I would), but I'm familiar with their music.

@PJ, I wonder if we've met..... I helped run a liquid light show for 10 years all throughout the midwest. Many places in ohio, virginia, indiana, kentucky, blah, blah.....
Ledges are lovely, I'm south and west of there about 4 hrs. I think 1/2 the fests I did lights at are no longer around....but I have been out of that loop for several years now. It's cool to see others that know of good jams.
