I am a fairly well known mineral collector (digger) and I wonder who all here also has an interest in digging crystals and mineral specimens. I used to own a business called the Mine Shack which I sold. So.... who wants to go digging with an old hippy? :hookah:

Pictures soon.

I've always wanted to be a rockhound. Another hobby I never followed through with.

I'm honestly not much of a spiritualist. I enjoy raping the land for valuable stuff whenever I can.

Define Rockhound............................

Does it count if you no longer can safely go trekking through the wilderness, pick in hand, but also could never move because you would need another u-haul just for all the rocks?

Howbout when you go for a drive, and spend more time looking at the local geology than reading street signs?

I may be a Rockhound.................

Long time rock hunter. Thought we find very little crystal/gems type here in the central states. I surface hunt in creeks, no digging. My finds are mostly Flint, Granite, Chert, and occasionally Hematite. All previously worked by the hands of man. Cool thread.
