Hey all,

While checking on my pepper plants this morning I ran up on this beautiful thing by my backyard fence. Seems the gills are red. What do you all think of it?

Bonus: My ghost pepper plant is putting out some nice reds. :)

That mushroom has some similarities to amanita phalloids, so don't eat it. Not a 100% ID, as I am new to the hobby, but possible.

I'm thinking chlorophyllum molybdites, also called the vomiter.

Agaricus Arvensis fits too, compare to that. I would not eat it either way, but the pink gills make me lean towards that Agaricus. All the Chlorophyllum ones seemed to have white gills. Never eat one that you are not 100% sure of the ID.

Thanks for the information guys :) Never had any intention of eating it either way. I like knowing what it is and I think y'all are right on with the ID
