God, that Tyson guy is always like fingernails on the chalk board to me. I have avoided that interview that Y'ube has been pushing at me since it dropped.

The only reason I signed in was to "like" this comment. Well...and leave this one, too, I guess. For the record, Sam Harris makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit from time to time too. However, as long as he's not talking U.S. foreign policy I can generally handle him.
If one is into Rogan's podcast, Steven Rinella is one of his best guests, imo. His most recent appearance, though enjoyable wasn't my favorite but he's a great guest. This thread could be a million miles long pretty quick but, just off the top of my head, one more I'll recommend is the guest (can't remember his name) who wrote "Coyote America" - freaking awesome episode.
*Edit - sorry there Rise, I never meant to "like" your Tyson video post. That "like" is now in it's rightful home with Alder's hate

Funny thing is, when I threw Stephen Hawking and Niel deGrasse Tyson under the buss in a post here a while back, Hawking died that day or the next. I went after Tyson yesterday in a post at a couple other sites too, and learned today he's being accused of rape and so I went and found this:
Two More Women Accuse Neil deGrasse Tyson of Sexual Misconduct
November 29, 2018 by David G. McAfee
Two more women, including a fellow astronomer, say Neil deGrasse Tyson is guilty of inappropriate sexual conduct.
Dr. Katelyn N. Allers, Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Bucknell University, told me that she was “felt up” by Tyson at an after-party following a meeting of the American Astronomical Society (AAS) in 2009. AAS didn’t have a mechanism for reporting sexual harassment at the time, but Dr. Allers says she probably would report the incident if it had happened today.
As if this allegation wasn’t shocking enough, it came within days of my interview with Ashley Watson, a former assistant to Tyson who says she was forced to quit her job due to his inappropriate sexual advances.
Watson worked directly with Tyson for several months. She says that, during that time, he put her in an uncomfortable situation by attempting to persuade her into sex, and demonstrated his “predatory tendencies.”
And it was just his science I didn't like!

Me too, brother. I cant believe how much Tyson was a part of our life, how meaningful it was to me. Its nice to see Im not the only one. Something tells me he's lying about not working out, not even hitting the bag anymore. I love how Rogan told him, "But its in you! Its in your body!" And I loved it when he told Rogan in some Yoda kind of way, 'In order to arrive at the next chapter in your life, you must forget about what came before, and focus on the future.' The contrast between what rage this man could once display, and the inner peace he now displays, (even active open dismissal of his own ego) blows my mind, still.
Also the fact that he is brave enough (even after what he's been through) to go all in with his growing op and the whole Ranch thing, he's amazing, and still inspiring! I gotta get my hands on that Toad!

I like it, but I think Joe could have just let him be toward the end of it. Joe hasn't found his own peace as much as Mike has.
