I've recently gone exploring near the Seattle area, and came across these. I thought they looked like panaeoulus cintulus, but I'm not entirely sure. Spore print is black, and they've turned white after I picked them a few hours ago. Any thoughts? Are they safe to eat?

Identification? Panaelous cintulus?

Welcome breadman! Nice photos!
I'm not sure what you have there so proceed with caution - don't eat them.
Let's get a few more opinions.
Can you provide a clear photo of the gills? (underside of the cap) That'll help - along with your already detailed photos. ;)

I'm not sure but Mycena comes to mind, from that general area, very common, not deadly poisonous but not edible.
