My Ban Hua Thanon is a beautiful pearly white with these long beautiful strands of Mycellium all over. Every jar of this is the EXACT same. It's almost as if each WBS has it's own head of long flowing white hair. It colonized a little slower but visually is a pleasure to look at.
Then you have my Orissa India strain which is almost more tomentose (fluffy). These ones colonized faster but Mycellium strands are much shorter and more fluffy like a fur ball.
Both strains are produced side by side from the same batch of sterilized WBS in the same types of jars.
Is it a genetics thing? I posted some pictures below. The ones aren't fully colonized yet are the Ban Hua Thanon & The pictures of the ones that looks completely colonized is the Orissa India.
Is it just purely genetics? Thanks
