We are aware of some issues specifically with Gmail users NOT receiving emails from Mycotopia.net. New members are not getting their validation emails or even their Welcome emails. We are able to see your support requests but our replies are not being received. We are working to find a resolution and I'm doing my best to Validate the accounts affected. If your new account is not validated then you can't post or start new topics anywhere on Mycotopia. Please don't message me on how to post if your account has not been validated. If you are not using Gmail and you didn't get your validation email, Please check your spam folders before contacting me.

I will be periodically checking in and Validating new member as time permits. For any issue that you will require a reply back to your gmail please just use Private Messenger until we get this resolved.

My apologies for any inconvenience this is while we work on this issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

ProtonMail if one still values some privacy, I wish I could part with the single sign on convenience of gmail myself.

proton mail is a winner

one free email account, encrypted automatically if both sender and receiver are using protonmail, hosted in Switzerland

and for only a few dollars a month you can get VPN through them

Absolutely NOT my friend!

Yahoo is the most hacked exploited service in the  history of the web.
If you have one already make sure you go into settings and turn on 2 factor authentication. Don't delete the damn account either! The hackers with your Yahoo email address then can claim it and pump out spam under your email address.

Here's a handy tool to check your email address in regards to it being previously hacked. Use it even if you don't have a Yahoo account.
https://haveibeenpwned.com/

Please take time and Google or better yet use https://duckduckgo.com/ and search for yourself about the Yahoo mail breaches.

If you do want a private and secure email provider (free) go signup for https://protonmail.com/ and don't use your real name or your online name you use here.

ProtonVPN is free to use on one device with no speed reduction and no logs.

Wise suggestion on using ProtonMail!

That's well known throughout the industry my friend.

Sorry if I came off aggressively but after 25 years in the industry some of these big asswipes that have violated our privacy I get a little heated.

Love ya!

Here's the new #1 data breach from last month.

"no logs" - I wouldn't count on that personally.

I should probably make the swtitch to proton mail... BUT... I get all my mycotopia emails now with gmail... I did something to make it not spam or some such....

I do always lose certain gmail accounts after prolonged hiatuses... Living that "Password Life" can be a bitch!!  Yes, I just coined it... We are all living that "Password Life"!

Not in Switzerland my friend!
Study up on their unique privacy laws.
The US has NO jurisdiction as well in Switzerland.

There is no such thing as 100% anonymity but you can have privacy to a certain degree by making the right choices.

The Swiss and the Dutch are ranked #1 & #2 in that order.

Great video that's not 100% correct but sheds the light on reality to the average Joe.

Hey just a bumpity bump for all the new members putting in the support tickets. You are not getting my replies and probably thinking that no one gives a shit. That's wrong! We all welcome you! If you all can't wait for me to validate your accounts manually, please change your email.

I changed my old Spinfinder email address to my Proton.

Spinfinder went dead years ago even after offering free lifetime email.

Someone bought them and they dumped the email service.

Same problem here with gmail. I created a rule to flag emails coming from mycotopia.net as important. Since then, they show up in the inbox.
