hey guys, tryin to get use to the new forums but till then i got a quick question for all of you, i just ordered a Pan Cyan syringe through Ralphster and recieved it a few days ago, its chillin in "our" myco-fridge and awaiting innoculation, my question is this, can i just innoculate straight brf/verm and then spawn onto alder or maple. sorry for the newbie question first time working with pan cyan and dont wanna waste a good experience, so any information is appreciated.

i was always under the impression that grains will offer more nutrients for the cyans, offering a stronger network when spawning to alder chips.

However, I might assume that the difference is negligable

I also thought Pan Cyans were a manure strain. Psilosybe Cyans are a wood strain. Are you sure what strain you have?

You can do Pan Cyans like cubies. I saw Ralfster's tek at the Shroomery. Use some poo/straw nocked up from your BRF. Or compost/poo if you know how to aquire good compost.

If they are marked Pan Cyan, then thats what they are. I ordered some from Ralph and they were Pan Cyans. These are not a wood strain. Use Poo like looper says, after your jars are colonized.

Ralph does not sell wood lovers. Those are pan cyans. Either use grain then go to poo.

a bit of worm castings or some cow/horse poo in your brf mix might be helpful
to prep the strain for what's to come

Those are Vietnamese Pan cyans (copelandia)

Spawn your jars to verm/DUNG
coir/DUNG
or compost/DUNG

I always add a little lime...and granular gypsum.

The Pan experience is the best!!
Make sure your jars are totally colonised....
Good luck:)
