There is a host of past  information that is crawling back into the forefront of my mind as I focus on what I call 'Nodal Awareness' and the idea of 'tonal inoculation of the collective atmosphere'.

When Homo sapiens sapiens arises as Homo economicus and renders all he sees under a code of law, and things of nature can only have standing under an economy's narrow scope for their valuations, I think it points straight to how the symptoms of this disease arise as well.  Whatever the standard for the unit of exchange, if it can only be some material, or an established legal trusts' creation of tokens, and not some higher ideal, the real world will be eroded for the drive to accumulation of more of such units.   The substance will be sacrificed for want of the symbol.
