Those plants are looking FINE my friend !

I like the bottom tub solution to drying out too fast. What are you feeding these?

I have been watering with RO water that I keep in a 6 gallon plastic pail.

I throw in some worm castings and a packet of Mycormax from time to time

I put a tablespoon each of super phosphate and dolomite in the mix once.

All the while, I have air bubbling through the tea.

I put a little molasses in the watering can from time to time too.

Prism recommends every third watering.

I have a hard time remembering, but I try.

Lastly, every transplant I add 1 tablespoon of Humax to the tea.

I have debating with myself about adding fertilizer to the water sometime during flowering.

I have not done that in the past.

I loose a lot of fan leaves, which is expected,

but I am wondering if fertilizing will lower the leave dropage.

I transplanted the grow into 5 gallon pots.

I am still planning of switching to flower on July 1.

A close up of the plant I like the most.

I have a fun looking garden in the piano room.

The A-frame arrangement is very convenient.

Toting the grow in and out of the house is getting to be a workout.

Nice grow.

Hey do you remove leaves at any point besides lollypopping for flowering?

beautiful plants. you can add nutes during flower but only water last 2 weeks. i'd go light on nutes. i used to grow years ago.

a link to a variety of feed charts for cannabis. i've used general hydroponics and general organics with great success

I only remove the dying leaves, which generally is most of them.

Ah okay , I do the same. I've seen people that pluck majority of fan leaves during veg which is something I haven't really done.

Perhaps the lollipop is good for low penetrating lighting.

The outdoor grow can keep all the leaves illuminated.

There are only a handful of dead leaves among all 7 plants so far.

So the lighting is good, despite June Gloom.

The more leaves, the more energy.

I am not at all up to speed in grow techniques.

I am in a rut if anything.

I flipped the lighting over to 12/12 July 2.  I also moved in a table so I could spread the grow out a bit.

Here are some close ups.

Hyphaenation's question to lollipop the grow has me wondering if I should try it on the grow.  I think I have been given this recommendation in the past.  I don;t remember it being called something, but basically the idea was to remove the lower leaves and bud sites so that the plant will put more energy into the higher buds and main cola.  Overall, the method should produce more bud.  I should totally believe you more experienced growers, but how much better will an outdoor grow perform?

This makes me also wonder if I shouldn't have let the plants grow to their natural form.  Since I do not have a height/lighting restriction, wouldn't the more open form of a natural plant soak up the sun better than the sea of green style of training I have been doing?

I think different strains will react different to stripping the lower leaves. There is a window just before they really start flowering that seems best to do it but its easy to wait to long. It definitely increases the air-flow and lessons the chances of mold but it also can allow more light. The second pic in above looks like a strain that that could have excess leaves enough to strip the lower ones.

Yeah, she is a bushy lass.

Should trimming be done within the ~first 3 weeks?

In the second week of flowering ....1 to 2 weeks after you first notice flowering starting. I know you know but for others , not when you see a pistol hair but when they start to appear at every node in multiples.

I have a little catching up to do.

I got too lazy, I didn't lollipop the crop.

Two plant started fading, one especially.

They have be loosing more leaves too.

I ran out of FFOF for the last plant when I transplanted the crop into 5gal containers.

I used Unigrow Potting soil.

I amended the soil with 1/2c superphosphate, 1/2c dolomite lime, 1c Alfalfa

The plant in that stuff started to fade first.

My favorite plant started to yellow too.

Could flowering cause the soil to deplete?

I have been adding 2T Pink Miracle grow to the water on a weekly basis now.

This is the recommended amount to use in 2 gallons of water.

My seven girls are transpiring 7 liters a day.  Around 2 gallons.

I have added magnesium to the faded plants too.

I am not sure if any of this is helping.

I am hoping to keep the other plants from fading and loose leaves.

In my eyes your living the dream Dipol... awe to grow outdoors hmmm.. I like what your doing

Dipole: Could flowering cause the soil to deplete? "

Yes, many times growth spurts uses alot of your plants resources Potassium is one of those resources and is common to deplete (K) but the plant will usually kinda stall out, i didn't take a good look at all your images but if you're getting a general yellowing, particularly in the newer growth that might be nitrogen not uptaking because of Potasium depleting or an imbalance of ammonium to nitrate Nitrogen ratio. I'd have to look up the ratio for the post 3rd week phase but pretty sure the ratio should favor ammonium Nitrogen... its common to up your K at the end of week 3.. one little trick is if you can add 5:2 humic acid to kelp to your nutes but not very much, say a 1/8 tsp of it per gal. or I've been known to use Rapid Start a root stimulator by GH as it has K and P with kelp once again not very much, like the low end of the suggested dosage for rooting.

I am very lucky, that is for sure.

The new growth looks great.

So I think I am OK there.

Perhaps I am fighting basic cannabis biology.

The cakes are popping.

Red Boy 6AUG19 (2).jpg Red Boy 6AUG19 (3).jpg

I got a couple of prints.  I smudged one, damn it was pretty.

Red Boy 6AUG19 (4).jpg

I prepped the prints by:

Washing hands with 50% isopropyl alcohol.

Rip out 3" of aluminum foil.

Wipe down the table top with 91% iso.

Wipe down both sides of foil with 91% iso.

Cut a piece a foil wide enough to fold in half and fit the zip bag.

Fold the foil and trim.

Place the foil on the table.

Place a freshly cut cap on the foil.

Place two bamboo skewers(91% iso-ed).

Place a 91% iso-ed bowl over the whole thing.

Two days later I put the print in the bag.

I used a pair of long, needle nosed pliers, iso-ed too.

A little update on the grow.

I only added ferts to the water twice.

I started to notice a small amount of burn on the tips of fan leaves.

All of the large fan leaves have yellowed, so I have been removing them.

The grow has not been photogenic, so I have been reluctant to post.

The plants do not appear to be flowering substantially anymore.

I had hoped for a longer flowering period, maybe that doesn't exist.

I am thinking I should have planted a month later.

The summers are cloudy in the mornings around here.

It would be better to have flowering happening under clear, sunny skies.

Nice grow. Thanks for sharing. Sorry if I missed it but do you know what made those leaves turn pinkish purple? I have some Durban growing right now out door but it just started showing pistols.
