All of my tampanensis brf jars are browning.. Is this standard for tamp or is it some weird contamination?

Not sure about yours, but when mine made those brown areas it turned into stones, yours may do the same.

Yeah, I was gonna say, tamp produces stones, and the may be what is going on, though I've only seen pics and that looks similar to that.

I have a couple p tamp prints that I have, I want to use them but Iv'e had so many B+ and burma(cube) isos that Iv'e been taking transfers and fruiting out to test in coffee can FCs, so Iv'e been putting off starting the tamps.

Cool to see those.

Same situation here. Too busy. I do have a small agar to grain jar I started and it's looking a bit odd but I'm hoping it's not contaminated. I'm going to do another 1:1 grain to grain with it today to get it up in volume. My LC from most of the plate was contaminated so I'm hoping the grain does well. Good idea doing the PF tech jar. I need to try that with Tamp.

My thoughts were to crumble the cakes to bulk and remove any stones that may have formed in the process.. What is the nature of the fruit body's potency? I'm fairly certain I've read that they are less potent than cubes but I've also read that they are on par with pans?

If you are using the PF tamp jars for spawn then I suspect you will use them before they develop stones. I suspect that will work well for spawn of your next stage.

I think Tamp > cube potency but have not fruited them.

I think tamps are a little more potent than cubes but less than pans, shit IDK.

Yeah there's almost no stones and they're almost done but cool about the fruits.
