I been working on extractions all day long. So here's some drug porn boys! The dish is the DMT from the last extraction in this thread. The 2 jars are some honeycomb bho. The fuller jar alone has an ounce in it. Good God this wax is

Ok boys...1 kilo of MHRB was ground up and 3 water and vinegar washes were done on the material. The 3 washes were finely filtered then combined and reduced from a gallon and a half to less than a liter. Now I can add lye water and solvent and still have enough wiggle room in my sep funnel to tumble it end over end (but I haven't got there yet.) I'm so fuckin stoked to see how this turns out! It's not always my first pull that ends up being the biggest, sometimes it's the second one. I'll post more pics when we got something interesting to look at

Edit:this is the most material I've ever processed in one go therefore I'm hoping to see the biggest chunk of DMT I've ever seen! 1% yield would equal a 10 gram chunk of DMT! 1.5% would be 15 grams, etc. I intend to crystallize the entire thing into one solid chunk! God I'm getting a chubby just thinking about it!

Ok so I learned a lesson, maybe some of the chemistry people here can explain what happened in science terms. I can't explain it in those terms but I'll try my best to convey what happened. Ultimately I condensed it down too far, that's the lesson I learned. When I was adding the lye water, the reaction was different than any other time I've done this. Once again, please forgive the simple language. Adding the lye water was causing a "thickening" of the whole reaction whereas usually it causes it too become "thinner" and more "slippery." Some even condensed to a solid on the spoon I would stir it with. For whatever reason, intuition or something, I knew what the culprit was. I immediately added 100% more water to it, bringing the total volume back to over one and a half liters. At this point, adding lye started to cause the reaction I'm used to and was expecting. However I thought I could have destroyed everything. That was until a couple minutes ago, the first pull is showing its first crystal formation. Perhaps I did do some damage, maybe I destroyed some product. But there's still goodies in there. Fuck I'm relieved. That would have been a lot of lost work. I'll post pics later. I know it took me a while but here it is boys! The total DMT from 1 kilo of MHRB. Hit a couple speed bumps but we made it through. When it's completely dry I'll take it out for some pics and final weight

This is the 5 combined pulls from a kilo of MHRB. The grand total is 10.5 grams. I may do another pull but ultimately I'm satisfied with the results

@Bez and Yoshi; so far I've only cleaned up with freeze precip. I may clean it up further but it might not be necessary. After scraping it up, it's actually much clearer than it appears in the pic. The yellow coloration is really only a thin layer on top of the white crystal

Thanks for the info. I've gotta can of Bestine that I haven't used for anything yet. Maybe I'll use it to clean this up. Honestly though it's a lot whiter than the DMT I usually vape. I should have took another pic when I scraped it up to show that it's much cleaner than it appears in the pic. But I've already given it to my friend who I was just helping with this extraction. He's fine with the product as is so on the other hand maybe I won't clean it up anymore

I think I've covered more in this thread than I had intended to and it's beginning to get repetitive. So I'm gonna wrap this one up. This will be my last post here unless anyone has questions.
