These toys help keep my success rate wonderful. And me moving right along.

Also a couple LC’s one from AGAR the other actually from a pinch of mycelium strait out of the sub.

Fortunately I don't need to make LCs for a while.. I have 4 smaller jars and two pint jars worth of LCs already, and my fridge is getting full.

This was a nice strain to grow!! I already took clones from the body of the most aggressive fruits and slapped them in some agar dishes.YEEEESSSS!! I’m still fruiting this strain. LOVE THEM!!! Very healthy crop.

Thanks for the link bro, good stuff going! Good LCs, the only thing I'm missing still in my setup is a magnetic stirrer like yours, like that one exactly I had my eye on, through Amazon it's pretty cheap. You like it?

I’m glad you popped by brother!! I’ll be fallowing your thread. The magnetic stirrer is well worth it. It just makes your LC’s go nuts with a few good spins a day. Well worth the 29 bucks on amazon you won’t regret it !!! I’m actually gonna grab another cause sometimes when I’m around the house all day I let the LC’s spin for hours. And I’ve yet to have one fail on me. Download the app GEEK for your phone or check out the site on your computer. Shipping isn’t prime speed but look under lab equipment on there and you’ll see some of the most amazing deals out there for all the things we need equipment-wise.

Most random stuff I can order from China too, with free but slow shipping - and they like keeping track of what you buy, those Chinese.. I like to find and order from multiple Dutch or maybe Belgian web shops. I find some good stuff on home brewing stores, they have a lot of lab stuff and of course all agar related necessities. I have found myself browsing kitchen and home appliance stores as well to find stuff I need.

Thank you my friend. Truly. I’m very humbled having my picture chosen.
It's very deserving IMO. Both for aesthetic beauty, and the accomplishment to get to that point.
The voting poll will go up at the end of the month. It's the members that actually choose one by majority vote.....

Ok so In the jars above I started working with grain. Here’s another pic.

This is a ? Strain I had grown out in agar. (I love agar)
So I took the most aggressive dishes,

I actually whipped up a batch of LC today to add to the collection.
I picked up the new ball plastic lids and drilled a hole large enough to squeeze a pipette through and silicone it in then cut the top off along with a small amount of the tip.
Then I pack part of the top half of the pipette with polyfill making it so there’s no chance of it getting wet when on the stirrer.
So far my favorite LC recipe is simple and effective.
I use.
For 400ml filtered water.
I add 0.6g LME.
Keeps my LC nice and clear with no caramelized LME floating around. And the myc loves it!
After using my LC knock up the grains and allowing to to colonize I moved to bulk mixing the grains with a coco and verm mixture. Covered them and let them sit in the tent for a couple days.

While letting the LC’s and other grain spawns sit in the incubator.

After a few days I opened my bins and switched to fruiting putting them back in the tent using a 12/12 light cycle with 6500k bulbs using the new lids I constructed out of the same type of lids and tubs used for mixing with the substrate.

The tent helps a lot keeping a controlled environment temperature wise. Having them still in the FC’s allows me even more control when it comes to humidity and exposure to any unwanted contamination (which at this point I don’t really worry about being as sterile as the first steps of the process) I keep constant fresh air circulating throughout the tent with a small intake and exhaust fan while continuing to mist(as needed) and fan as often as I think about it.
So far so good I will keep everyone posted.
I hope all is well with my myc fam and look forward to hearing from you. Take care everyone.
