I have had that happen from super saturated subs and the mushrooms absorbing too much water as they grew. Did you dunk that? Were they hollow? It doesn't look like vert or bacteria to me. If it is bacteria, you would probably smell it (sour). You will know on your next flush if it is vert.

I forgot to add that you should isolate that.

Vert is hard to get rid. When its that prevalent, you have to reach a point that everything can be sanitized at once, and start with all new material. No clones of prints from infected grow, and no lc that was used for the grow.

That being said, its only cosmetic, doesn't affect yield or usability, 95 percent of the time.

What's your substrate recipe? I'm guessing high nitrogen.

Just read D's post. Pretty sure there's vert there, but also thinking high nitrogen, really wet sub and maxed humidity.

They smell delicious !! Actually they make my whole room smell delicious. That was my first flush. And they are heavy. I was really impressed with how dense these came up! There is nothing fragile about them. As for dunking my sub. Could you give me a quick synopsis on the proper way to do that when you find time ?

Substrate

650g coco coir
8 cups vermiculite
16 cups of 170° water pasteurized overnight.

Brings it to perfect Field capacity.

I fan often but only mist when the top layer looks dry. And pretty much stop misting when pins appear. I use a mister and spray only enough to make it glisten never puddle. Although I did find my humidity to be building up more than other grows in my tub when I would go to fan.

Get some corks that are fatter at the top than the bottom and drill a hole towards one corner on the bottom that is the size of the middle of the cork. Line your tub with a trash bag and cut it to fit below the vents, before you add your sub. (I tape the bag to make sure to be a tad more secure. When it needs a dunk, slit an x thru the bag in the hole and shove a preferably sterilized cork in the hole. I keep a sterilized new brick wrapped in foil, take the foil off before use to sit on top of the sub and fill with water just below the vents. It is much easier if you prop the tub on the edge of the bathtub, or a plastic crate if you only have a shower. Sit it in a clean tub on top of a couple bricks so you don't ram your cork in too far.. (A learned lesson lol) After your dunk, pull the cork and drain it. Tilt it when most of the water is done to get the rest so you don't get your vent material wet. Works for me. but I tend to do things differently than a lot of folks. I have a back that cannot afford to lift heavy water filled containers. Sorry about the wordy post.
