This podcast is rich in real world information about what it might look like, to suddenly find yourself in the middle of a war...and if that should ever happen to any of us, some important facts we might want to know.  It really blew me away, for example that drones on the other side are giving our military hell over in war torn places, that 20K in privately owned drones once disabled a multimillion dollar Russian Military airport for a week, and a lot more!

You'll want to start at the beginning here

and then go in order.  There are nine parts of a killer series!  Enjoy!

This is part 2  https://www.iheart.c...l-war-30751081/

Part 3 The Revenge of Rural America

Part 4 The State Strikes Back  https://www.iheart.c...-back-30805444/

How the american people can beat the military

Because your post, Rise, came on the heals of someone's mention of the movie, Hotel Rwanda, as an example of how fast a society can collapse into chaos, I was moved to link the series to him and his audience after just the first part yesterday.  I posted this there this morning:

I am nearly through part five of Robert Evans’ “It Could Happen Here,” and the man writes and reads his stuff well. He has the background of a war correspondent in urban conflict zones, and was witness to the Ukraine civil conflict. What happened in Rwanda will not be what happens in the USA, and the UN will not likely be here to help us out. The divides that Evans lays out so well must be preemptively sorted out before any new civil war erupts.

I have tried to find a print version of “It Could Happen Here,” but was not able to do so. All the podcast versions I could find are I-Heart-Radio and have ads, but these can be skipped in my computer’s player by moving a slider and guessing where the ad ends.

The possible breakdown of civil society many of us can see looming has been seen in some depth by Robert Evans, and I think we profit from his experience and understanding. As has been mentioned, the speed at which the breakdown can occur could overtake so many of us, pursuing our day-to-day existences. I highly recommend everything I have heard in this series thus far. I don’t see Evans’ estimations going off the rails before this series plays out. I think we need to hear what he says and ponder our positions, whatever these are.
