Lightly firmed, I wouldn't even call it packed.

I assume during my attempts to make it level I most likely firmed it a little

Lift the bag and gently tap the bottom to fluff it a little then leave it alone until it is fully colonized.

Should I still do that now even though I mixed yesterday?

I'm gonna check it in 2 weeks. Since I'm doing invitro I assume giving them their sweet time will help the process.

Yes, what roc is saying will fluff up your sub and then leave it alone.

Peace

Here it is after the mix yall! Looked online it said not to pack down manure based sub so I didn't. Got it at the same temp. Should I check in what, 7 days? 10 maybe? Or does it really matter as long as it's not early?
I was gonna whip out the LEDs and get some light on them when they fruit but I dont know if that is necessary. I don't care about growing them straight up or whatever the lights do I just want em to fruit!

Dont pack them tight , leave them firm though , its something that's always been hard for me to do but the more level across you have it the more even pinset you get which results in more fruit ... also I'd not open it or even look at it for at least 10 to 12 days, if you try to rush it it's just gonna make it slower in the end
Also you dont really need the led lights , it doesnt take much light at all ,I've grown alot just turning my bedroom light on for a few hours a day , but for best results make sure during your spawn run you keep it in absolute darkness for at least 10 days , I try to do 12 but i get impatient sometimes, you dont want it to pin early

Im okay with it pinning early cause I'm doing it invitro. I did as roc said and just tapped it a little but it still looks pretty level. I'm gonna check it in 14 days from today

Dark or light is fine. Light won't cause them to pin earlier. I'm pretty maturity of the mycelium is more important than anything. If you're close to favorable conditions, they'll pin when they're ready.

I've got my temp at 71 right now, what should I set it to when I start fruiting?
I've read that the temp is like 75. And I know they keep an internal temp as well so should I just not change my temp?

70-75 is just fine.

Looking good!

Leave them alone and let them do their thing!

I'm checking them Saturday, and I can't explain how excited I am! I've been very patient and haven't looked at them even once. I forgot to put the towel over them so i hope they have enough co2 built up for colonization.

I'm hoping i see pins when i check. Maybe I'll just see a colonized bag, but with the estimation of 10-14 days colonization for most bags where people usually do bigger ratios gives me hope that my 1:1 ratio will make its transition into fruiting faster.

when i take pictures, should i open the bags or just try to take good pics from the outside? I didn't plan to open them till harvest.

Good job!

I'd take pictures of the bags unopened and we can go from there!

You got this ... few things in life give me more joy than going from spawning to fruiting

They're not pinning but the myc is reaching up.
Does that mean lack of FAE? Should I air them out?
There looks to be droplets and such forming in the bag as well which leads me to believe there could be too much moisture70994f544135019ee7bf973c49c519b6.jpg67a55244dab5bb66206830ce6700c821.jpg8eb7bc1a99946f98f8b638666ea49583.jpga2806f2d662f9cc109f9ad59fc7e24d5.jpg

I'm gonna stick to my original suggestion of leaving it alone until it pins or you harvest. I know that can be difficult though.

Thank you. I planned to do exactly that. I've just seen people posting their delayed pins and seeing the same thing but then again I haven't been delayed at all. Good to know I dont have to do anything to it
