Went this Monday to the Woodland Park Zoo with my daughter,, granddaughter and two of my 7 great Grandchilcren/  It was my granddaugher Laila's 7th Birthday.

I had horrible leg cramps the whole night as I walked more than I had in the past 6 months.

Had to sit down several times as my legs would not lift my foot off the ground.

Also due to my macular degeneration in my Left eye, I took over 86 photo graphs of which only about 20 were worth posting.

The bear photos were the best.

Here are those images.  For those who want to know the text to each photo, then go to my Facebook page at John W. Allen.

There were not even any shrooms there whatsoever, but the mulch had lots of alder. I know they grow around the inside of the wall surrounding the park from Phinney to Aurora at Greenlake in the fall for cyans and sometimes baeos. Nut no shrooms of any kind were observed.
