Can you use a too-small of vermiculite when rolling your cakes? I initially dunked and rolled after birth, I have had one flush.
I then dunked again for 24 hours in the refrigerator and now the vermiculite almost seems to be like a second skin to the cake, may I have reduced my second flush success?
I included 2 photos of cakes first fruiting and the other 3 are after dunking in fridge and rinsing vermiculite off in sink.
If I did mess up should I grind them up into bulk substrate?
