Just wondering if I could get an opinion on if I have cobweb in my totes. Tia.

It certainly looks suspect.

I would definitely isolate it, or get it out of the house all together. Perhaps bury it with some composted manure underneath, and a bit of a dirt/straw casing? Couldn't hurt, especially if you had the stuff lying around.

A hydrogen peroxide spray is out of the question? It's already out of the house, isolated in an RV.

I have heard that peroxide can help. I have used peroxide dunks with my cakes, and it seemed to help a vert infection.

In my case, I used ~30% peroxide and 60% water, possibly more. But be careful.

Nope. No Cobweb. That tub is fine to continue fruiting right now. Way too much fear of Cobweb out there. If you have it, it will zoom across a substrate fast and be a fluffy inch or more tall. And it will do that overnight fast.

I think these patchy white messes with big pinsets that never develop are usually from some bacteria, maybe from a poor pasteurization or maybe was already in the spawn.

I will admit my working conditions weren't the most ideal but they did produce some hearty shroomies. There's some yellowing though on the surface of the mycelium now that some of the veils have broken

If anyone has any advice on whether or not this is a good thing or a sign of contamination, it would be incredibly appreciated : )

Dryish looking yellow is dying mycelium. Not a lot you can do about it. Couks be drying out or contaminant stress.

Could rotting pins contribute to it?

I'd say probably not. But there's more factors. In a healthy substrate pins shouldn't decompose quickly, if they are rotting fast, its another sign of bacterial infection or something like it.

Okay. Nothing has been expedient as far as rotting pins but some have been darkening so I may as well pluck them
