The bottoms of both containers are showing healthy rizomorphic (spelling?) growth but I'm struggling to get pictures being only one person.

Did you use a bag liner?

I didnt.. I didnt have bags but I also wanted to be able to see the colonization on the bottom. Figured maybe I could black out the walls somehow with tape maybe to prevent pinning on the sides? What's the main purpose of the bag liner?

It’ll prevent mushrooms from growing on the bottom and wedged in the sides.
Looking real good though!

Some fun pictures I took today, cool how the mycelium grows

Also it seems like the b+ is going faster than the GT! It seemed to be faster and steadier as BRF cake jars also.
B+

GT

They are also different subs, one has gypsum one doesnt, b+ was grated GT was crushed into spawn, different strains. So no real data here, just b+ box is doing great so far. So hopefully it keeps it up!

Ok. Havent posted in a while but that doesnt mean nothings been happening. I've got lots of healthy growth! Cakes in a monotub style tub with perlite, and two bulk trays cased and I've been waiting.. also I'm very excited to report that I got my very first pin! It was in a GT jar, only one, but dunked and am fruiting all the jars that were 100 with it.

I ate it.. couldnt help myself. Such a tiny little pin but it needed consumed! Haha

The yellow cup is due to a method I've employed in growing cannabis to monitor bugs, it's a yellow solo cup I rub down with vaseline. Not good to control bug problems, but great to monitor. I added it because I swear something flew out of the tub when I opened it once. So far nothing scary on the cup though.

Pins pins pins! So very excited! I can see the mycelium reaching out all over the place too! Just these are the first to look like pins!

The the bulk is doing good! That one pin has doubled or tripled in size and I count at least 20-30 more pins popping up.. The cakes still have just the one cluster and a lot of primordia, but it feels like the pins are growing so slow? It's been 48 hours since I first spotted them. They are growing but it seems super slow to me, as long as they are growing I shouldn't worry too much. Right?

You're all good as long as you see growth. A lot of variables can cause slow growth, patience grasshopper

Peace

Patience is a virtue..
One in which I lack!

I'm getting better though, and as long as they're growing I'll wait. I just might not wait super patiently.

Hoping to get a dose down the hatch this weekend but if it isnt meant to be it isnt meant to be.
