Could it be the alcohol industry throws around some weight there?

The one, and only time I went to Vegas, I got married.
You'll never get me to go back alive.....

I'm glad my days of going to Vegas for trade shows is over!
It's a dirty disgusting place when the sun comes up and you see what the locals have to deal with right off the strip.
Don't miss it at all.

Hoover Dam, Bellagio Buffet and Dancing Waters and always a good show to catch somewhere are great.
But being a non drinker, and not much of a gambler, a 24 hr stretch in Vegas is plenty

Been to Vegas once.
I saw Santana open for The Grateful Dead, and doubled my money gambling.
Of course by that I mean I put a quarter in a slot machine, won 50 cents, and called it a day (so I could tell everyone afterward that I doubled my money in Vegas).
I bet the guy I saw wearing a Fear and Loathing t-shirt who was passed out on the lawn out front of Caesar's Palace may still be there. I don't think he was dead, but it was hard to tell. Anyway, it seemed like every other person I passed on the Strip was wearing their tye-dyed Fear and Loathing shirt that weekend so I imagine my experience there is not exactly typical.
