4 1/2 weeks?

had a bit of slow growing issues the usual potassium teduction after the 3rd week thing, also I'm running a different substrate that I'm getting use to pH 5.6 - 6.1 Oh I couldn't find a Potassium source to add that wouldn't upset the humic/kelp ratio I want to keep so I ordered NPK Raw potassium sulfate and got here a few days ago... also was feeding to light and tuning in these new nutes, NPK Raw Bloom it requires to add Cal/Mag which also is part of its nitrate nitrogen requirement to maintain good saturation balance so it seems 50-60 ppm is the sweet spot, the leaves are holding up much higher now.

I should add that I'm using six 14.5W - 15W 3000k household LED's, I need 4 more which are ordered be here Tuesday, sorry the sideways pic's I'll better.

don't know personally on the Bruce Banners but suppose to be a strong hybrid, long lasting uplifting leading to a relaxed body high.

I tried my friends simalar Pheno from the same drop of the MAC cross (sisters) on Thanksgiving, it's a good heady, a sweetish cedar slight lemon with an astringent that smacks you in the nose and face (I like that), a 4hour plus old time sativa high, if mine is simalar in the high as that one you can't ask for no more.

Damn that sounds good as hell... I love that woodsy, incense type sativa terpene profile.

5 weeks give or take

base 2000ppm increasing a little K, reducing Cal Mag and nitrate nitrogen, increased ammonium nitrogen 50ppm. I'm not sure how much ammonium N to add but the plants will tell me. I'm not good about keeping a log so that's what's kind of happening here, killing two birds with one stone.

almost 6 weeks

different random shots, I should mention these are only grown with basically 100 watts of Home Depot LED floodlights in a 2' X 2.5 ft area of a closet.. tomorrow will be adding a 150w HPS and removing a few of the floodlights and will be 220 mixed watts led and HPS.

Bruce Banner #3 slowly but surely, here are the highlights.. I completely apologize for the sideways pictures.

first I mentioned the 150w hps fixture.. well I had it apart a few years ago... thought I carefully saved all the screws and shit for the mogul socket as I was going to mount the ballast remotely but didn't .. I even taped a note on the socket for the correct wiring... for when I rewire it... but lost some major pieces so order a new Mogul socket.

20191214_202622.jpg 20191214_210312.jpg 20191214_210818.jpg

Second new socket the first socket was the wrong size evidently I ordered it wrong, oh well here's pictures of it installed.

20191214_212135.jpg 20191214_213600.jpg
still need a couple #6 screws and possibly nuts that'll be tomorrow.

Here's today's pictures I promised
20191214_195804.jpg 20191214_195837.jpg 20191214_200857.jpg

the current LED flood lights
14-18watts each their not to bad, kind of a narrow span width. The Philips 2700k flood seems like the best one...

I have an confession early on in this flower stage I've made some bad lighting mistakes let's leave it at that... in result it seems the Bruce Banners did not flip into flowering for 3 weeks the light leaks didn't seem to effect the MAC cross clones but since I twice bumped the timer pins which caused the lights to be on for 30 mins in the middle of the lights out cycle normally this would cause quite a bit of problems fortunately just had some slower growth on the MAC seed cross's I think this is why the Bruce Banners are coming out heavier yielders particularly considering they started flowering 3 weeks behind. that's okay this is not a production run... heres some pic's

above ^ I mentioned light leaks and timer problems I also made a upgrade from home LED flood lights that served me well but very uneven coverage.post-105197-0-33815200-1576379080.jpg

I got two quantum board style LED grow lites, and their fabulous. they are composed of a mixture of white 3000k and 4000k diodes and 660nm reds and far red and including IR (infrared).

here is the 79.00 Mars Hydro TS 600 led 100w quantum style version utilizing the new Epistar chips.

20191224_200723.jpg

Also using the 149.00 100w Spider Farmer SF-1000 board with the tried and proven Samsung LM301b diodes and Mean Well XLG-100 driver both the Mars Hydro and the Spider Farm LEDs throw the light in a downward 90-120 angle, so no reflector hood is needed although the Mars Hydro has a bit of a reflector its main purpose is it acts as the heat sink. the image below is the Spider Farmer SF-1000
showing MeanWell driver and the sturdy 1/8" mounting plate/heatsink.
20191224_201228.jpg 20191224_200440.jpg

I used a LUX meter for relative light measurements, both boards measured the same.

Nice! I just got a spider farmer, I'm setting up a DWC system to run underneath it. It's definitely a powerful light but I'll remain skeptical until the results are in! Also this is the first LED I've ever used

Cool..
a lot of big time operators use quantum boards with the same diodes I suspect they push them with more milliamps.

I have never seen ANYTHING on Cannabis that nice! I have not partaken in almost 30 years and that image ending in 190340 makes me want to again! To me that looks like some kind of alien fantasy plant of my dreams!

it's a trick to make a bud look more frosty than it is, dim lights and the flash of the cell phone camera makes the trichs pop.
