This thread was my home away from home on Shroomery and a place for everyone interested in cultivating all of the various active panaeolus species to gather, share their notes, successes and acknowledge

these truly amazing mushrooms. I am hoping that we can get a similar conversation started here and generate some interest.

 

I had the pleasure of meeting Blue Helix last year (a member here at one time) and I have studied many of Peacefrogs grows...not sure if they are still active here or not, but hopefully they will join in.

 

I mainly grow Panaeolus cyanescens myself, and if you are wondering why you would want to grow them...well just a mere 2g will give you a level 5 trip that you are not likely to forget 

 

I managed to salvage some pictures from a few recent grows to start things off and I am looking forward to talking pans with all of you.

lol on me, because i got a few "prints" from a long time shroomerite but wasn't able to decipher specimens.., well,because the shroomery...

If I uploaded direct to topia, does the server strip away EXIF data for me, or do i have to find an app first?

It doesn't appear that EXIF is stripped. One of my pics posted has a bunch of details about the camera. I have location stuff turned off on my phone. You can test what is in your pics on exifdata.com.

 

nate, when you make a post there is a button to "attach files". After you attach your files, there will be a link where you can add them to the post it self.

Not sure exactly on your question k5h

 Most pics I just right click on it, click on the properties and click "details"> remove all properties and personal info> create copy with details removed. Then use the copy and change to the name I want. Don't know what you post with though, Im on old desktop pc with windows 7 still lol

 

 

Wowow Asura that is stunning! What a beautiful pan grow. i love it.  Been many years since ive worked with pans, Ive had much success, but nothing so full canopy.

 

Blue Helix, Seven, Elf Salvation, Rocketman, Peacefrog, and others, all mastered these bad boys. Blessed us with great info and prints, Much archived here.

Miss them all. Good peoples, brilliant minds for growing and just cool friends to have.

 

  Great stuff keep it coming.

 

Only pan prints I have are LgFlCy and I think 10 + yrs old lol, But I hope to make another attempt with some when i get time..

when you start to post a message go to the bottom for "More Reply Options" It will open a more complete editing post screen. Click browse under the Attach files. find your pic, resize to make it easier for all to see, delete info, change name, whatever.. then click attach this file. thats it. Oh then preview post to see how it will appear if you like, edit if needed. Click add reply, actually thats it ;)

Hey Foster! Thanks for chiming in. I will have to look up a few of those guys for sure as I am not familiar with them, other than Blue Helix and Peacefrog. 

 

I don't really know what the rules are here around trading prints and whatnot, but I have plenty of cyan prints for anyone that wants to give it a go.

Currently have Jamaica and Alabama and would be happy to send one out (no trade required, only a commitment to try and cultivate it  )

Okay here's the overgrown masters on 60mm plates. I have new 90mm plates on the shelf with my transfers looking nice. I'll upload those other ones within the day.

I have an ape LC I'm working on, and some atl7 plates growing stones atm that require my attention. Lol

Okay i believe these are pans. Better close ups otw.

I mean I don't know for sure, but it certainly does look like pan cyan to me...wispy. Looks like any number of my own T1 plates.

Welcome and good to have you here Asura! I'm glad you started this thread! I love seeing yours, jakeonacid, and maryfairchild's pan adventures.

To add,

This is Pan Cyan Australia spawned to feral horse manure w/gypsum and vermiculite added. The casing is a thin layer of 50/50+ peat and verm. Put in fruiting conditions 2 days ago.

This is my first go with pans. I'll update on this thread. Happy growing everyone!

This thread has me excited. I've been missing the one over at the shroomery along with the stone producers discussion thread. Happy to hear Jake is on his way over. You two constantly inspire me. And I can bug Jake about that Peace River print lmao
