4g cracker dry. I'm not disappointed, as this particular culture was germinated over a year ago, surely suffering from senescence by now. Also considering that it had already overlayed twice.

That's enough for 2 mind blowing trips. I'd call that a major success. Be careful with those guys.

Whew! They pack a punch.

Part of 2nd flush, probably ~2g dry. I'm happy that they did anything at all. I have new genetics on the way, so I'm psyched.

Mexican and new goliath genetics. I've only ever worked with Hawaiian.

I also am excited by this topic, I have corn innoc'd with pan jam, my previous experiment yielded with minimal results, I am sure I didn't allow enough time to colonize, kinda forced it to pin. I'll be patient this time, even tho the results were minimal, what happened as that result was quite unique compared to other. Any specifics on this topic would be greatly appreciated , will be adding spawn to, 2 quart jars of verm, 2 compost manure, 2 peat moss, brick coco, will be adding 1 tbls gypsum, 1 tbls nutritional yeast to the boiling water, 1 gal. After mix in bucket, will pasteurize in oven at 225 for 2.5hrs. This method has worked well so far, but I am new, any input for improvement? Have also used blood meal for the nitrogen content, It may be overkill, but nutrition should be a key factor, right? Anyways, appreciate this site and its members for guiding myself and others to a new way of living...until next time....HOLLA

Looks like they need a lot more FAE to me. I run them in open air basically, but if that's in a GH you

have to cycle more fresh air into there.

Jake,

Hi! Your pics/grows are great! So the only agar work that you're doing is looking for fast wispy growth? Or are you cloning clusters too?

Ok Panaeolus agar heads!  has anyone seen anything like this before?  What are these weird growths?

I recently germinated some Panaeolus Hawaiian spores, did one transfer of a few points on the leading edge.  Two weeks later I went back to see the plates and there's this interesting growth.  I don't think it's contamination.

Questions? comments? concerns?
