Nice pinset. Are they touching the top of the dome yet?

Ok these guys are def done this will prolly be my last pics as I unintentionally hijacked the thread but I really wanted to try it because it is definitely a step up from dubtubs. Honestly it has a natural barrier to prevent side pinning and you can easily modify it to increase FAE. Much gratitude to Itbebasidia for the suggestion many thanks my friend!3e2772a046f053f88fbd20a5c66b837d.jpg1e0a17e9812b8b986eec28ff6ab23fa5.jpg52c1f89de5a36b19613604c06d88e793.jpg

Did you really hijack it? Or are you contributing the the main idea of the thread with proof of it in action?

makinbones69: That is a very nice looking flush, congratulations!

What strain is it? Not sure if you mentioned that (if so I missed it), but I was curious because of the interesting/unusual (to me) appearance of the veils before the caps started opening.

I just wanted to say that I liked this idea enough to try it out for myself. I didn’t do much to get good flushes, it just sat on s shelf in my closet. Here’s a couple pics, first and second flushes of AA+.

What an amazing idea Itbebasidia and an efficient way to make the most out of a single cake. I have always liked small trays so I can try a variety of strains out so I was quite excited to give this one a try and once makingbones69 and ElP posted their results I became very intrigued.

I couldn't find a rotisserie container so I made one out of an old mushroom tray.

Heres some nice shots of South America in rotessorie tek.

And if anyone is wondering this is all from a single 4 oz jar of brown rice spawned to coir and verm, cased with peat and verm.

Here's my predicament.
I've got 1 of these, but the bag I planned on spawning to the sub is 1 pound.
Should I get another one today before I spawn?
Then I could have a 1:2 ratio.
EDIT: on the other hand if a pound of sub wouldn't fit either I could split the sub in half too and have a 1:1. Just not really understanding hoe much i should put in there! 34c7471c735e34dfb3e6c2425fec0907.jpg

1: 1 will work and be fast, but you can make your spawn go farther by getting another container or even another couple of containers.

I need to find these containers for the cordyceps I am working on. I wonder if smart and final has them. Where did you guys find these? I know they are a bit sturdier than cake pans with lids. Not real fond of those as they are not as sturdy and aluminum. I definitely want to go plastic.

If you find yourself always eating rotisserie chickens this is a great way to recycle the containers.

for this i went to a supermarket and bought a rotisserie chicken solely for this purpose. Gave the chickens to my mother and got back some soup!

It was a win win!

Not all rotisserie chicken containers are equal. I easily cracked the lid of the one from Walmart but the one from a supermarket was more robust. Just in case anyone wondered.
